My new pro belt drive

Great shop to do business with. Willing to explain how and why his belt drive systems works. I have a system ordered.
 
Our kit is 1 1/2 lbs heavier. It is actually 1 lb but would rather be on safe side and round up a little. All the weight is added in the brackets and idlers.
 
The top factory pulley weighs 10.43 oz
Our top pulley weighs 9.79oz being the same gear ratio

Factory bottom gear is 1 Lb 7.6 oz
Our bottom gear is 1lb 8.5 oz

The Gates belts that we use are lighter than the Polaris Belts, how much I am not sure don't have a take off belt laying around. Gates belt weighs .8 lbs
 
I also agree with the honesty, you don't see many People going far out of the way for customers. Great looking product. Nice job, will be ordering one when ready.
 
I went to Tom's shop today and the belt drive kit looks outstanding and he seems like a good guy to do business with. I am buying one and will try the 2:17 ratio for riding at 7 to 10,000'. I will Report back with riding impressions...SNOW!:face-icon-small-hap
 
I have his kit in my shop, just waiting to find some time to put it on. tom; a good guy to work with. Never met him in person yet but he was great to do business with over the phone.
 
What pulley/gear ratio did you go with, Clinton? Have you had a chance to try it out?

I just bought two of these kits and geared the sleds down to 2 17 and 2 25. I rode Oct. 6 in the Big horns with the stock QD and the sleds at 9,000+ altitude seemed very sluggish and down on power. (I was riding at 4-6000 last year) Hope that the gear change will wake it up a bit. Waiting for snow again to test it out.

Looks like a nice upgrade without breaking the bank. Disregard '12 price question, I found it in the other thread. $799.00

Any more pics and anyone riding one on their 12 with any input?
