My 2012 Snowcheck is supposed to be here 3rd week in Aug

Oregon makes a good point... If you take delivery now... you will be "burning" warranty until you actually ride this season.

If you can, see if you can pay 99% to the dealer with the last part coming when the snow flies.

That way you can actually start the warranty when you start to use the sled, which may give you a bit more time to deal with a warranty claim.

Also, make sure that the sled-setup and prep are done well.
Most dealers are excellent to work with and your sled will well sorted before you get it.

Check out this thread with checklists from the factory and others... as well as thoughts on this.

I know most are excited to get their shiney, new, expensive sled in their own garage... but a bit of patience may pay off.

Mountainhorse,

I remember reading this post or one very similar last year. The last couple of weeks I have been trying to find it and not able to find it. Thanks for the link. :face-icon-small-coo

I just called my dealer this morning and the gave me the following dates for the sno-check sleds:

Retro and Orange - 8/8
Black - 8/22

My wife's Pro-RMK 600 is scheduled for mid Sept pickup.

Went into the dealer today and it is still showing a late October delivery on my 600. Sigh, a September delivery would be sweet!

warranty doesn't start until around the 15th of november, no matter how early you pick up the sled. not saying it isn't covered until then just that it is around that date your warranty will expire after your 2 or 4 years. snowmobiles have always been this way...

Suppose to be a black/white seat on the orange, not red. I'll be making my dealer swap it out if that's the case wtf.
Yeah, that does not make sense. I ordered an orange one also, but also black and white side panels. Looks like another seat if I want to run orange or get the red taken out of the seat.

Heard about a guy getting his in Kelowna yesterday. They got theirs about 3 weeks before Alberta stared getting theirs last year. That means I will have to either kick out a couple of quads or the lawn tractor out of the shop so I can get to work on it. (rubbing my hands together)

yeah i am in kelowna to, just got mine this morning. buddy must be an insider, polaris dealer isnt open on mondays. I got the call today. going in tomorrow, will snap a pic.

Hyperduc..A quick geography lesson because I don't want you to be lost looking for your PRO. The Oregon Trail is in many states including Oregon but NOT Washington and neither is Oregon Trail Yamaha. Baker City, Oregon dude..if you get into Washington from Utah you went way too far.

Got the call today saying my orange pro 163 was in and that I can come pick it up anytime. If only I wasn't so busy at work getting combines ready for harvest.

Just unloaded my black pro 155 and a retro 155 at work this morning. There was another 8 sleds in the truck. So they are starting to come.

I heard they have this 6 month no payment plan, just wondering if after the 6 months are over I can pay out the sled with cash? My sled's in Alberta too.

Ya you can definately pay it out. Doesn't go through the dealer but I believe HBC financial.

Unloaded two orange pro 155's this afternoon.

i went in on wesnday an checked out my sled being built. Its nice to see the retro in real life and not just the pictures. I guess there still waiting on the windsheilds to get in.
