muffpot?

I can start to make them today if there is enough demand. As the Muff Pot and Hot Dogger may have different dimensions. At this time I do not know if Hot Dogger will fit the same.

Do not intend to complete with Rob. PM me if you want one. These will only fit the 800 PRO's might work on 6 ,7 and 8 IQ's. I can make them for Muffpot and Hot Spot will not work with Hot Dogger.

I'm gonna use the heat shield from the exhaust side to make into a cooker. I'll be using the Super-Q can and sort of forming the heat shield to it's shape, similar to what my friend did with his SLP can on his old 900. We just wrap everything in lots of tinfoil to cook.

The hot dogger fits perfect right in front of the silencer, no mods needed.

Mounted a hot dogger like that on my Edge but work not do it again as aluminum pipe shell was damaged by dogger moving around due to vibration. Not saying it won't work it will but at some point I feel clamp will loosen and the stainless steel mount will win the battle with the softer aluminum shell. I also just like the fact my food is not cooking in a aluminum pot.

Thanks for the input, will be something to watch. It is not a standard hose clamp, ran the same setup on my 08 and it has never loosened up, so I hope it will be fine.

Here's my muffpot oven.
I decided to give this location a try. I did cut the pipe insulation and the muffpot bracket sits directly on the pipe.
I have not had a chance to fire up the oven yet...

i have found it most eaiseist to mount it on the right side (when sitting on machine) and mount where the pipe connects to the can. I found it really easy to access and eassy to mount... Hope that helps!

Just mounted muff pot at the junction of pipe and muffler. Made a spacer out of 2" aluminum square tube, Cut a piece 1 3/4" long put dents in top and bottom with press. Use a piece of 1" black pipe to make dent in bottom which mates to straight section of stinger on pipe. The top dent I used a 3/4" piece of bar stock the compress top of tube in so that it fits inside of muff pot mount ears. Then use supplied hose clamp to attach to pipe. It is a good Idea to check the hose clamp during first ride as they will need to be tighten. Have mounted in this area before and there is plenty of heat.

Got mine installed. Fit perfect. Thank you Woodsrider. I hope to try it out this weekend.

Muffpot Spacer

Used my muffpot with the spacer last Sat, it won't get as hot as it will by the y pipe, but hot enough to do my little smoke's real good, I like the fit and it stay's in place real good. Thank's again to Woodsrider, great idea.
