Mix of rain/snow in Mt. Shasta City, but snowing hard on the pass between Mt. Shasta and McCloud (around 4,000') so it should be snowing good in our riding areas.:D

only thing that sucks about that snow is that 90% of it will just get blown off the mountain or into a big wind slab just waiting to slide over the top of someone. but i still think that it would be cool if they let us into avalanche gulch

storms a coming

thanks for the up dates guys :D

i've been watching snowmans hill all day on the cal cam:D

i hope the snow keeps on comming :D:D

thanks Joel:beer;:beer;

Snow hasn't accumulated in Mt. Shasta City yet, but at around 4,000' it snowed all day. :D

Weather report looks like it clears Saturday. :)

Who's up for a "stuckfest?" I'm good to go.

Hey Joel, get those big horsepower, long track Arctic Cats out to break trail. My little Polaris 700 155 RMK might need a little help.;)

I don't think I'd even attempt Gumboot Lake. I was thinking trying to get to Jack Rabbit Flat from Pilgrim Creek or Deer Mtn.

We'll post riding plans Turtlehead. We'll let that Ski Doo lead the way. :)

I have a shovel to, but most of the time I'm too damm lazy to take my backpack off and get the shovel out. Maybe that's why my gloves are always wet.

Update is dog sled races this weekend from Deer Mtn. to Pilgrim Creek so they are going to groom the trails sometime between today and Friday.

I'll keep you posted,

I just got back from the ski park, was pretty much dumping snow while we were there. Arrived at around 9:30 to 10am and by the time we left at 2:30 there was probably a good 6 to 8 inches of powder on the truck. They reported this morning at opening that they received 24" in the previous 24 hours.

I imagine there has probably been close to 4 feet of new snow since these storms have came in.

count me in for the stuckfest, up at the park today it was really dry powder for mt. shasta, when i left at about 4:30 the snow stick at the top of douglas was at 7 and half feet!!!

Local weather person stated, "the next two storms will be significantly stronger than the system that moved through our area today.":D:)

S@#t, I'm tired of shoveling already.
