It is a pretty small community of riders in California. I bought my sled from a friend of a guy i think you know. AO (Antony Oberti).....

needless to say small world.....

I will be riding that area for a few days with a couple local boyz... Mar 7,8 and 9th. Hope to see you out there, I am sure you could show me some nice secret spots!

Big storm comin your way.... it drilled Northern California ... 3-4 feet of fresh!

Okay, we will be moving out to SLC area the weekend after Easter. That would be March 29-30 or so.

We are looking for apartments or housing to rent in the Heber / Midway area for one month only. I know I should be posting this on craigslist or something, but everyone here seems so helpful.

Anyboday know of any rental houses or apartments that would rent for a short period of time??

We are looking for 1000 per month or lower. It's not a big deal, as we will only be there for a month or two at the most.

The biggest issue will be that we need a short term (1-2 month) lease.
We have a med size dog (30 lbs) housebroken, well behaved.

Only me and my wife, so 1 BR 1BA would be fine. Really, anything in the Heber area would be great. We'd prefer a little backyard, but we'll take what we can get.

We will be out there (hopefully) Sunday, March 30th. I may take you up on the moving as it will probably be just me and my wife.

Cann't say for sure but will ask around. For the dog though, what kind is it? I have a fenced in pen with 2 dogs, both labs, and may be able to put the little guy up for a little while for you.

She is a lab mix, about 2.5 years old and loves to play with other dogs. I'm not sure my wife would be willing to give her up for a month, it certainly might be a good option..

Did you end up selling your sleds? Lake Creek is a 5 mile drive from Heber. You can ride there pretty long.

I'm going to pick one up out in Utah. They were worth more here in Mich and I didn't want the hassle of hauling a sled all the way out. The spring is generally a good time to buy, and I've been shopping around quite a bit.

Looks like I'm shooting for a 144 Summit 800HO -- 04-06.

In the valleys.. Not so much snow.. In the mountains there is plenty.. Heber City probably has about a foot or so on the ground but the riding areas close by have a lots so no need to worry.. You will probably be able to ride all april and may.. Plenty of riding close to you there in Heber City..
