mod motors in rev chasis

Is there any company that makes mod engines that bolt into the rev chassis or which engines will fit in the rev chassis
What is the procedure on getting the motor mounts correct

820 w/ 200hp???
Maybe the 990.

Do a search on here and Dootalk about the RKT827 or the SHR840 big bores
Straightline Performance makes a 950 which is a whole new top end....for a whole lotta $$$.

There are not many options not using the stock bottom end. Anybody in the game of making big power prefers case reed as it just works alot better.

Basically you have the stock bottom end and stock jug big bores and the stock case variations with different jugs. The stock jug BB's will make anywhere between 155 and 180 depending on who you want to believe. Bolt on different jugs and your dyno numbers will get higher. Personally I haven't seen any on the hill that work as well as they should compared to a standard big bore.

Then you have shoehorning in cat BB's, triples ect but they are way more than 'bolt in'

889 Triple Rev

I have an 07 XRS clone with an 889 triple in it (based on 809). i am very happy with the overall package. I went thu the twin exercise in my ZX and as Portgrinder said, they never really worked mcuh better than stock. I have been around lots of turbo's and towed many home. I went big bore based om my experience with other options.

Niel did the pipes and Specialty fit the engine. They don't build kits as the fit for the pipes is snug but if done right it fits really well. The sled never really gained weight as the triple is 25# heavier but I don't run an oiler or guages or factory wiring etc.

Like others have said, nothing "bolts" in per say. I have a 999 Mad Max Cat twin in a MXZX Rev chassis. Mounting the engine isn't the tough part, it's fitting pipes and making sure everything else fits. All in all, mine turned out real well and I've been happy with it.

Looking to sell it if anyone is interested. I want another project...

rev mod

Hey i have a tripple in my rev with the bondi kit and neils pipes.Pipes are amazing. Neil is a very smart man. Mine is a 1170 price perf built by " can't tell ya" The bondi kit is ok if i were to do it again i would do it a bit different.Neils dyno said 243hp and 152fpt. Its a turbo killer.
