Mod list for 2015 Viper MTX

Christopher, unfortunately I am. Which is why I'm leaving my bumper on my Nytro bent. Maybe once I'm done with school I'll be able to afford a nice fancy Viper, and a neat bumper to go with it.

Don't feel alone!
I have replaced my Nytro bumper SEVERAL times myself!

Any thought on ski's yet? I am fairly certain in deep powder these stock ski's won't do the trick, don't wanna go too wide and loose maneuverability. At 4-500$ a whack I would like to get it right the first time.

Buy or borrow a pair of Polaris Gripper skis and try them.

why can i not find how to build/price a 2015 viper on yamaha's web site. id like to see what one costs fully equipped with turbo.

most places were offing sled 13,199 + mpi turbo 2000$=15,199$,that is with list price on sled & most places sell under that.not sure if you can still get the 2000$ turbo kit as it was a snowcheck deal.

We did a demo ride on a couple different Viper turbos last spring - the snow we were in was good for the time of year (Snowy Range WY). The skis I liked the best were the powder pros (stock, C&A, and the camoplast blow molded skis from the stock 2012 Nytro MTX were the other ones we tried from what I can remember). There may have been other differences (shock/skid setup etc.) but based on my ride that day I would go with the PPs if I were buying a Viper.

Don't forget the skid, especially if you went with boost....

Kmod has Turn Key skids for the Vipers.

For those that just have to have the latest & greatest, top of the line stuff; the Kmod G2RT skid (Gen 2 Raptor Titanium)

Now to keep things cool:

Fire n Ice Performance has carbon fiber side panel vents for the Viper as well.

Both businesses will be at the Boise Show in the Kmod booth.

Yessir. The KMOD works really good on the Viper. I ran one last season with great results. Ran the Raptor front coil over shocks as well and the work great!

I have run PP on my last 3 PC1100t sleds. On my M7000 I am trying the c&a mountain skis. I run a Kmod and Raptors all around on both sleds also.

Not quite apples to apples, but we put a pair of grippers on my buddies 2013 m8 and it was a world of an improvement.

Yep that is what I ended up on my 2014 M8 last year after buying a set of Powder Pros. Liked the Poo grippers a lot better, less darting and easier steering feel in the powder.
