I support the protests. Cops like Joey here are getting exposed for who they are. Violent and temperamental guys with a badge and no restraint. He has a history and until now got away with it.

Hawkster, what do your two kids think of the protests? Have they spoken to you about it? Have they influenced your perspective?

Mine is pretty upset. She was never an activist until just now (39 yrs). She is seeing the racial injustice and isn't turning away, rather hitting it head on even if it hurts. She CALLED several politicians this week pleading for justice for women who have been killed by police and they were never charged. Innocent people killed by cops. Murdered by mistake.

I'm so proud of her. She is doing something meaningful. These politicians and decision makers have phone numbers and email addresses. Contact them. Get your voice heard. Ask for action. It isn't a complaint line.

Quarantine and curfew are two totally different things.
One (quarantine) is requiring people to stay indoors due to a virus that has a survival rate of 99.5%. I dont agree with this one. You quarantine the SICK - Not the healthy. The SICK should be wearing the masks - NOT the healthy!

The other (curfew) is requiring people to stay indoors when thugs, animals, criminals . .. whatever you want to call them . . . are on the move . . rioting, looting etc. Peaceful protests don't require a curfew, and is what these people should be doing instead of the rioting and looting.
