GAAA, I just KNOW it's gona be Hard Pack when I get my 722 goin. Not this weekend But MAYBE the Sunday after Keep fingers crossed....

Rode tday with a group of 4. Another group of 4 where there too.
The sun chased us around all day. Made the loop and had a blast tearin' up MORE NEW SNOW around the WaterFall. About -10 to -15 today. Wind chilling trail ride but definatey worth it to play in untouched snow. Good base ment you could get around well enough. A couple 60+ft drops and some windrift action. Good climbs. Lotsa fun.
Trail was groomed on Friday and it was a HIGHWAY. 3 sleds wide for most of the trail. Groomed to the bottom of the Chute.

Anyone planning on going up Monday, Mar 16th? Seems my loving wife invited my parents up this Sunday, My first Sunday back from the mine, and I will have just got my sled back together, Itchin for a ride.

Was up on march 7,8,9 and conditions are good. 6 inches of fresh. We own a house at the old town site. Never been up the 7000 rd riding what area is it called, and is there any maps avalable. Been up the road in summer.

The 7000 Rd is Mica/Spanish Mtn area. I don't know if they have a map at Performance All Terrain or not. I can get ya Google co-ordinates when I get home. Hopefully tomorrow
Hey all you Hun City folks. The parents live at Canim and we are wondering if we should bring the sleds out for the easter weekend? Dad says still a ton 'o snow in the yard but how will it be in 30 days? Are ya'll still riding Spanish or Timothy then?

Definately snow. Might be melting down low but definately have snow for Easter. Doubt the groomer will be running but it's been such a good year we are going to play it by ear as to when we are gonna shut her down for the season. Rock is barely visible, trail to the bootom of the chute is groomed and no signs of creeks at all. Bring the sleds and stop by the shop to say hi. Someone's always up for a ride.

Going up on the 17 th of march, with wife and kids. Staying at our place in the town site at hendrix lake. Was up 2 weeks earlier and just wandering if there was any new snow since then. We will be just riding around the mine.

YES, 2 Ft of Fresh Sunday at Spanish, so should be the same at the mine??. Awesome day, but My drive chain broke, sleds still up there. Need to find a lift back to the rock. Any takers????

Ya, some issues. Seemed to be loading up with oil when shut off occasionally. not sure if Pump, or center crank seal? better not be crank seal. Clutching, need work still. I was just creaping up to the power. But she pulled my arms out on the road and was smooth even power.. Gona be great when I get her dialed. I'll be in tomorrow or Wed for a chain

Yessir. Thjats what we refer to as the rec site, or warming hut. And right across from that is the trail up. The Rock, is a large rock on the endge of a meadow when you get up into the alpine. It's a usual meeting place/fuel drop off
Unfortunately I'm reporting on a avalanche death in the CHUTE yesterday.
