MCXpress Controller Issues

Sounds like the steam is probably the culprit, that and sucking in snow. I put a turnout on my exhaust to deflect it away from the intake and so I could carry gas. I also had lots of problems with the stock filter freezing, so went to a big K&N with just a short snorkel. Haven't had a single problem. Also had the moisture problem on an Apex and we put a bigger K&N on that and it seems to be working. I think the K&N style filters do a better job of keeping out the moisture than the screen type filters. I do keep my sled in a heated shop and am going to relocate my controller to lessen the risk. Not very good with the digital pics or I could post a couple, can anyone tell me how to make the images a little smaller as I get a message saying they are too large to upload.

email them to chris@sledmods.com and i'll post them

Yes it is apparent because your machine will not run with the MCX box plugged in.

If you have water in your control box I would disconnect it and take it inside for a night or two and let it dry out real good(put it on the heat register) and then make sure it never happens again.
