I was actually more offended by his apology than by his original rant. He should have apologized made no lame excuses and taken responsibility for his stupidity. Instead he tried to shift even in a small way the blame to the ute fans. Lets not forget he is still a dumb kid. Punish him then lets all forget about it.

Well now, you can't sit there and tell me there aren't any athletes in the NFL that speak their minds and let their emotions dictate them.....Terrel Owens, OchoCinco, Brandon Marshall, Philip Rivers, etc, etc, etc. Every team has at least 1 if not 10. I don't think this will sink his chances of going pro....thats the nature of the game.
Just look at how many tongue waggin' thugs are in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, PGA, MLS,......UFC!

lol ...I'm pretty sure you didn't need to mention you were a cougie at the end there man. Yes, it is the basis of judgement when it is not dealt with. He unfortunately is the voicepiece for everything that has BYU written on it especially the platform he was on at the time. If someone from the program or school dosen't reprimand him then the CODE and every other attribute the team strives and prides themselves for then it is a reflection on every player and the whole football program at byu. Am I saying that he shouldn't be able to say that because he plays for BYU, damned rights I am. Am i saying it wouldn't be as big of a deal if it was any other team, yes sir I am. Dudes a 5th yr. Max Hall has the winning'est record at one of the premier quarterback universities in the nation and youre asking if he will go pro? Im not saying I like him or think hes good. Im just saying hes going to ride that right into a nice NFL contract for sure.
