Matryx weight loss

Cerakoted pipe saves 4lb for $350. Similar to carbon pursuit but for $100 more. Carbon pursuit obviously removes weight from a better place but not sure it's noticeable.

Diamond S, Cerakoted Pipe, headlight delete gets you pretty dang close to 20 lb weight savings.

If I recall correctly, it starts getting real expensive after that. I think the next best bang for your buck was the ti ski hardware when I was looking
Who is doing the cerakoted pipe? Definitely down to do it if lead time is some what reasonable

My Axys hood itself is super light and I imagine the Matryx would be similar.
Does anyone make a headlight block off with provisions for an aftermarket light setup that would be lighter than the stock light?

Speaking of dropping weight on a Matryx, if anyone is interested I will be listing a brand new Carbon Pursuit Headlight Delete for sale.

140.00 shipped to lower 48

It is brand new, bought it but decided to just do a Skinz Hood instead.

Here's a link,

Am i the only one not in a hurry to delete the headlight? I do ride at night on the regular, and its nice to have. Or in the event that a day runs slightly longer than expected. Kinda wish there was options that allowed all the storage, and keeping the headlight. Id probably order up a mountain fit hood if i could keep my headlight imo!

I run the oxbow light along with the oxbow flashlight for my helmet on our sleds. I was sick of getting anxious once it started to get dark when back in the hills with out a light.

It may seem dumb to get rid of the stock hood, by a skinz hood and get a light but I think it is well worth it with the heated/sealed storage.

I’m used to using helmet lights on dirt bikes as well so I’ve always packed an oxbow. In some cases you aren’t turning the same direction as your headlight is pointing.

For Anyone who is wondering about the weight of the Mt. Fit hood vs stock. Both these have the 7S and are wrapped. I only have the upper hood compartment option on the Mt. Fit

8 lbs difference

That's a bigger difference than I thought it would be

That's what they should actually say on their website.
