MATRYX SLP TWIN PIPES

The 850 needs a total of 2 Polaris base gaskets installed to raise port height. The can egt needs to be moved into the other pipe.
Make sure you check hood clearance and harness length before you weld the bung in. Install an egt bung plug in the can.
This setup has been working with the SLP tune and TRS clutching at elevation.
You can then spin it to 8700.

Its kind of a bummer that slp is sending these pipes out and things aernt quite right. Ive been watching these for awile thinking they could be a good addition to my light weight sled and where I ride. Have you installed any on an indy dan lr motor Tony?

No sir I haven’t.

HOLY **** do these cut out, was on snow today and these thing can't get out of there own way at 7000RPM. I too talked to SLP, no fix yet...nice testing SLP! WTF! Probably Heading down TRS path.
Just curious, why did you decide to try them? Kind of seemed like on the Axys they were alot of work and finicky for little gain.

if you double up the base gasket like TRS said you will lose some compression though. Back in the days of old triple mods we would do that to go from unreliable full mod to a more reliable trail mod for less compression.

Always wanting to try something different I guess... and they look really Cool! .......Stupid answer eh?
Nope, thats a good enough reason, its YOUR sled, I was just curious. They do sound killer… even though they are loud.
