Dang I'm a good photographerJk, Great ride yesterday!
I love seeing all the Ex Arctic cat riders riding the Pro chassis Wrong foot forward.
Nikon D5100 with a 55-300 lens.
I was using a Nikor 55-300mm lens with my Nikon D3100, when I took the ones of Chris. That seems to be good size lens, the 18-55 doesn't have much range at all...
Actually yesterday was the first time I've taken it so I'm still trying to find the best way to pack it, but I have a smaller case that fits the body and two lenses and thats pretty much it. Then I just put it in it's own compartment in my back pack. I have seen a kid that put the body it's self in a tupperware container, then the lens in a seperate tupperware container. It looked like it added some more protection.Don't want to high jack the thread, but......
Yeah I think that 300mm would be awesome for outdoors. Been looking at the 18-200 for more of a general all around lens.
If you don't mind me asking, how the heck to you pack that thing in? I've been looking at making like a foam sleeve for protection.
