stock M8's are a dogggg, i know, i have 2. stock for stock doo vs. Cat, the kitty lays down and takes a nap, now turbo m8, thats a differant story...

no XO's in the stable yet, just comparing to my cousin's and my brother inlaws XP's.

What else is weird is, why would you ride an Xrs when you have an M8. The Xrs guys are usually sitting at the bottom of the hill with some excuse about how hard their track is, or bad their clutching is.
believe me, ive seen the sled in action, it rips.
m8s have crappy small ports so they can pass emissions with the regular case fuel injection. Port them and they will run...
i've rode both and prefer the doo. i've had no clutching issues, went though both primary and secondary. yes the challenger lite is heavy but when notched it does hook up. M's still a good reliable sled i just enjoy the XRS 10times more.

Oh yeh! Well my mom can beat up your dad!! I can hardly wait until the snow is deep enough to get off here and go RIDE!
I will have to give my opinion of my 07 M8. I have rode polaris for the last 12 years and converted over to Cat in 07. At first I was very disapointed and missed the arm stretching power that I felt with my Polaris. But the more I rode the Cat and rallied against other sleds I found the cat delivers an amazing amount of power to the track and jumps up on the snow and climbs like crazy! It reminds me of a desiel truck, power comes on slow but pulles extremely hard and does not let go.
I have fell in love with my Cat and can hardly wait to ride her again!

An M7 will not beat a well clutched M8. I rode an M7 for 2 years, however, it would not outclimb the M8's that were setup proper. My M7 had slp porting, stock pipe, HPS can, and RKT head. The M8's have a very good engine and when modded outlast the doo hands down. I will give it to doo for great out of the box power but that's where it all ends. The reliabilty of the rest is terrible.
cats engines tend to stay together all year. thats an excellent selling point.
