M8 VS Dragon

This thread needed to be called why does the XP always get the himark? I enjoyed the why does cat always get the himark thread a while back

nothings gonna beat the 10' m8 this year! 09's were keeping up with the mighty xp last year.

you don't see the dragon being compaired to anything, because its not better than anything else.

Its not the M in the deep

and its not the XP on the trails

its just the hind tit leftover sled, no purpose for discussion.

yea I got all three including the 10 m-8 and they all sux -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------when their stuck!!!!!!!!!LOL:beer;

Forgot to compare them side by side at my dealer when I visited them last week. They sell both, won't mind an M8 just to test their real world durability.

And you know this for a fact or is it your opinion because you just happen to ride one.

it's more of a hypothesis. 09 m8's were keeping up with xp's just like in the deep powder challenge it was close between those two was it not? Well now you add more power to the 8 and its going to pull away. I'm just saying. It's no fact......yet:beer;

I think you hit the nail on the head!

omg lol i like totally rode all three on the showroom of this dealer the other day and the dragon ripped the m-8 and xp up. It carved the concrete floor so much more bettererer. These threads suck, they are not even a fun read anymore.

**I ride a Polaris because its what I like and what I feel comfortable on, I would hope others ride their brand for similar reasons!

If they aren't fun then why did you read it and then respond? ;)

What about how close the local dealer is and how they treat you? That might weigh in on the decision also.

How the dealer is with you should weigh in heavy as well.

Ok ok I will admit I do like to watch these threads as normally a big battle ensues. I just think that people start them looking for real data and never get it, which can be annoying. Imho that there is so so much more to snowmobiling than what kind of sled you are on. I would hope the people that read these threads realize most people will defend what they ride and that all the sleds are great they just need to pick out what sled fits THEM the best, not what their buddy thinks is the best.

I hope that you enjoy your 09 M-8 and it treats you great this season, they are indeed a great machine.

I hope it snows soon so you silly little piss ants will have something to do besides start "mines better than yours" wars. As I said in the XP vs. Dragon thread, it comes down to individual preference and, to me, dealer support. I ride a Poo because I gave my Cat dealer a chance 3 years ago and he dissapointed me. When I asked them to please make my 07 M8 run competitively, Jeff responded by saying " just put a turbo on it." Good advise, maybe, but a guy shouldn't have to turbo a Cat to make it run with his buddy's 04 piped Rev 800 now should he. I was so pissed that I went home, loaded up the Cat and went and traded it for a new 700 RMK, which was the best sled I've ownded to date. I would love to own the 10' M8, or maybe an M10, but I get great discounts at the Poo shop and most of the time the owner drives when we go riding, and DIESEL IS NOT CHEAP. If you have to have the biggest and baddest then maybe you should re-align your priorities. But then again TO EACH HIS OWN. When all else fails, bring what you ride and put your money where your mouth is, bee-otches.:D
