Think we are doing Primrose tomorrow morning. Been awhile (years) since I had my kidneys and back brutalized on that trail. Figured it's about time. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and give us a little light.
Dylan please post when you get home as too the shape of the trail up Snug. It was trenched pretty bad last Sunday. Prefer that way but not confident the trail will be very good. Thanks in advance.
Everyone be safe and have fun.

Rode LL today via firemans. Icy trail again, and snowing allday. We found alot of un-tracked areas;), snow still deep enough to come over the bumper.Got the dragon700 to get 8200-8300 rpm, finally. Rode carter yesterday, sunny and good snow.Pics from Carter lake.

What weights did you go to?? I just got my new sled and they put in stock for 0-2000, and I am running 7800-8000, thinking I need to set it up for 2-4 less weight size?

I put in 64g weights with a ti spring, forgot the specs. Its the helix and/or spring that won't allow you to get rpms. I'm using a friends secondary that he played with last year. It made a noticeable difference. 398-6982, call and i'll tell you what I put in.

Haha ! My Yammi is actually probably real close to weight of your sled . :eek::beer;:D:beer;

Spoke with the Seward Ranger Dist about the tree yesterday afternoon. She said they will try to get to it this week - and YES we are welcome to cut any trees out of the trail that are a problem... so if anyone wants to take a chain saw just in case... feel free :D

Mike, why you need a sled shop? That new ride of yours is already hurtin or what?

You guys always assume the worse...I won't lie, the new ride is currently in more pieces than I can count but that's because it's too cold to ride, not because there's anything wrong with it.

So no sled shop in seward....anyone think they need one?

What about you anchorage guys...if you want to ride 2 days in lost lake do you drive home each day or get a hotel in seward? Would you be more likely to ride a second day if there was a cheap hostel or cabins in seward?

The wonderful Breeze Inn is only $50 a night (lol)
The military rec camp is cheap too (if you are military or have connections)

It is more cost effective to stay the night for two-day trips down there - we have done it a few times
