other then catching a ski on the bobsled trail and dumping my sled on its side and bending my bars was a good trip =)

thanks A...spike is an animal huh?..his dad is looking at an assault for spike..would be the perfect sled for him....he was skying mine last night off the top of a hill...him and troy were egging each other on...was funnier then chit........

Went yesterday Firemans and wow it SUCKED... We had many rope parties, pulling up 10-15 sleds up the switchback and then doug doing some carnage up there. I almost Died going about 30 down one of the shouts backwards towards a buddy coming up. Missed him just by inches. Took two hours to get up firemans, the snow up there was pretty set up and tracked. Needs alot more snow! Still fun though. Nice meetin all of you guys though.

Yes

Awesome views, hit a new peak. Ok snow, traffic jam on the trail, somebody almost found a hole.

So, is this crevase or a snow drift or what?
Most of that bowl is a glacier and yes, he is on the edge of a crevasse. He was not in danger of falling and being trapped, all turned out well. For the record, I have not heard of a sled or rider dropping into a crevasse on Ascension glacier. Not saying that it hasn't happened...........

Oh yeah, he was not in our group but it was fun to watch the recovery :D He had riding buddies that lent a hand, it is WAY steeper than the pictures look.

Wow!!! Wow that on Ascension Peak, the lookout where we all take pics from next to it, or the climb up into the bowl? It looks like Ascension it's self in that pics and I have never seen an open crack of the face. Glad he got it stopped.

Right next to the up climb. I also don't recall that hole. Al Gore? LMAO!

In that case, I have seen that one before. Usually on a low snow year. Good reminder for everyone to becareful out there. Especially coming downhill. They can be REALLY hard to spot coming down. Thanks for posting that.

You can't see it in the picture, but there was blue ice showing under the lip he was sitting on. Tried to get him to drop in while I filmed it. He wouldn't have it.

There's actually a "crack" that ran all through there. Pretty well filled in, but you can still see the outline:

Nice meeting and seeing you guys yesterday...

A kid that rode with us yesterday was telling us about a guy he was riding with that fell into that crack. 40ft down. Broke his back and a few ribs. This was a few years ago. They had the chopper come try to get him and when it landed, it slid 50 feet down the slope. They thought the chopper was going to lose it.

This guy was hauling *** up the mountain in bad visibility, and he hit the opposite side wall going up. Sounded like a pretty bad wreck but he ended up ok.

Its too bad that he lost the race! Lol, wrong angle for you guys. If you look closely im looking back at him the hole time. No doubt his sled is fast, but its not that fast:D

Yes, I know you won the race..was impressed with both sleds...:beer;:beer;

You have to admit that he made you work for it tho! They were both impressive sleds.

Oh for sure! That sled is very impressive for a two stroke and thanks on mine. I will let him get nitrous in the bottle and ill crank mine up and we will see what happens but it will be close im sure.

Im just kinda dissapointed i couldnt see the 2 stroke turbos run. Been waiting along time to see them finally go and.......... well sensitive subject so i will just drop it, lol
