We were the first ones up on Thursday to find incredible snow and sunny skies;) What an incredible way to start the year off!!!! Best first ride of my life for sure. WARNING!! these pictures will make you Smile and get jealous:)

Which trail did you take? Has anyone got a report on the Firehouse trail? Be there in the am, just trying to decide which trail to take.

Went up Friday up Firemans and it was Sick! 2-3 of Fresh pow pow but went up Snug Harbor today and it was windblown and not nearly as much snow as Firemans side. Crazy the difference. I wouldn't go to Snug till they get a few more feet.

That is pretty typical. That is why even though Snug is MUCH closer to me living in Soldotna, I usually always go up Firemans. 3 miles and you are above treeline and in the good stuff! Beats riding all the way across the top to find snow. That, and weather weather comes in, it can be interesting getting back out snug blind.

Just back from Lost Lake, did I mention PHENOMENAL!!!! Don't bother going, we didn't leave ya any POW to pound:D:rolleyes:

yep I know I live in Kenai, it is so tempting to go there but I usually try going in the either primrose or firemans cause of the snow conditions are usually crappy. Plus It wasn't my idea to go in that way but that is what happens when you ride and don't drive....Oh well
