loses power

Hey guys got a 08 m6 when I pin her she well hit between 7500 and 7900 then drop down in the 6's. Servo motor open for a sec or two then close I hold the cables open by hand got all my power. What you guys think?

Is the cable slack to spec?
Cables move freely?
Power valves cleaned recently?

I just throw out the simple stuff. If all that is ok, maybe the servo, I dont know. Take a servo from another sled if possible and see if that works.

They move freely
Cables are to spec
Servo do work but don't have another one to try
Fuel pressure perfect threw out throttle
Compression good
Unplugged everything in the handle bars no change
Plugs are brown but a little wet and she is a little hard on gas

I am no expert, just thinking thru this as if it was mine........

Are clutches and belt correct and in good condition?

Have you owned this sled for a while and did it used to run right?

Maybe poor electrical connection to servo?

Nothing to do with the clutches cus if I hold the servo motor open with my hand it works .......just got it and the guy I got it off never notice it never used it hard on the throttle.......for some reason I don't think it's the servo cus it do cycle just the sled loses its power that why it closes I think ....she is a little hard on gas so I'm thinking she's getting to much fuel at wot but not sure how to fix it without buying a commander....

If it runs fine at wot when u hold the pwr valves wide open, and it doesnt when cables are connected to servo because the servo doesnt stay open, then i would suspect the servo.

I am not sure how the servo/power valves would work if the cables are not connected/routed the right way on the servo drum.

Not the servo trying to track down a ecm now to see if it's the issue...is there a way to test ecm at home or can I take it off and bring it to the dealer or do the sled and all gotta go in.

So something weird just happen after I tested the servo both ways I put it back on and she's cycling the opposite way now so ok I switch the cables around to the other side cables are still at spec soo I tried her out and she works amazing hiring 8050 and keeping it for about 3 hits once I snips her 3 times wrench comes on and light for fault cables any ideas what happen

So I replaced cables and servo no change .....then I took pins on of servo to reverse the servo and I can go wot throttle 3 times then she throws a cable code ....I'm stump getting sick of messing with it.

I would look for something like a bad exhaust temp sensor. If your determined to do your own work, I would highly suggest buying the repair manual. It will have all of the specs & troubleshooting/test procedures.

I just notice I read the potentiometer test wrong says it spose to go from 0 to 5000 clockwise but mine goes from 5000 to 0 clockwise and the servo I bought does the same thing anyone no what's up with that??
