Long time members

I signed on to the forums at 16 and man does time fly fast.

Where did laguns go? He built some sick sleds.

Been a long time since "Hollywood D" posted, or has he changed his screen name.
I used to enjoy the banter that used to go on between him and others.

And that stuck picture of him in that ravine, priceless. :D

Sold his sled a bit back. Been on SJ some, but has gotten busy with other parts of life. Good peep...

Yeah man, I think I was 14 or 15 when I signed up. Creepin on 10 years now. Damn.

I usually see LA once or twice a year. Basically whenever I go down to CR and hang out for an afternoon. Didn't get down there this summer though.

If you search names you can find them lurking. Some change their names, but once in awhile you hit a profile and find a lost friend.

Got a few on MSN and some more on Facebook. Forwarded e-mails arrive all the time. (Right Pam???)

Cheers:beer;

383

Hey Darrin, been a long time. How the heck you been? Great to see you are still kickin' and still have your wit.

For the guys who are too new to recall the legend of 383LB800:
I had the pleasure of meeting and riding with him a few years back. He truly has some hilarious stories. Riding in the truck, listening to his and his riding buddies' stories made me laugh just about the whole trip to the riding area.
And that sled of his.. That thing really went! He could definately back up the trash talk. Us S.W. old timers sure miss how he got some people so riled up. Very witty guy.
Remember the butt chaffing thread?!! hahaha

Dariin, glad to see you still ride. Hope to see you post on here this season and keep us entertained. I'm thinking seriously about taking Feb and March off this year to do a lot of riding. Maybe I could find my way over to your new riding area and ge another lesson from the 'Ol 383?!?

Anyone hear from The Frankster?
Maaaaaaaaan, the days when he used to bash the hell out of Tetonice....very funny stuff. WOW Teto was up against the walls in those days.

I showed up here not too long before the butt crack chaffing thread. 383 has always been the best at unearthing the forum expert who had ridden a couple times on a buddys sled, spring checked a new, big, shiny ride with all the accessories and then comes on here to educate everyone.

oh man.
I loved the beacon thread, countersteer thread and the "B" stread.
I guess the airplane thread will be going up with those also.

It's a shame we can't get things like those going again without some moron gettin it yanked.

Whoa just a minute, I need to be included in the beacon thread. As for T4T he's still around and is alive and kicking, just doesn't have that drive for sleds that much anymore. He wanted vacations, not a bit of play with a lot of work!

He posted a while back though so he still does check it out occasionally.
