lol 383 was a real kick! his sled had to be the coolest i have seen in a while lol. i loved the nut buster seat that was rhino lined right? and the ronald McDonald hood lol. didnt he rig up PERC too?? ha ha he needs to come back bad! wish he coulda commented on some of snowhawkaddict's crap! lol

I actually rode with him this last spring. I didn't know he was coming until my bud and I had out climbed some dragons with our XP's. Then he came out of the trees and up the hill twice as fast as we did. Our pride vanished quickly. It sure is one ugly ride, but it waxed my 2008 ride quite handily.
I still remember the days that he and "Freak" were going at it. He is not as funny in person, but a real good rider even with the primary clutch not disengaging all of the way. I wish he would still come around and humble some of the boys.

I talk to Bikemaker a couple times a year. He's not sledding hardly at all anymore. He rides his road bike a lot and that's about it.

I think the 383 still lives.
I talked to him in March.
We tried to get him to come to Fairfield, ID with us, but he pussed out. He had something to do, but I think deep down, he didn't wanna get waxed by big bores or turbo'd dragons.

383 retired to sledding with new prioritys being a NEW sofa for that fat wife of his. LOL!

maybe even a newer double-wide, I'm not talkin bout his wife neither.:face-icon-small-win

The last I saw Bikemaker on the hill was about 1.5 yrs ago. Talked to him last Sept at the grass drags. He is doing well. We will have to get him out on the hill this season.

Oh the good ole days. I miss those days!

Jonce, I will fill you in this weekend about puff.

Chubby, you are still pizzed that we all shot you advances down aren't you?

What ever happen to Hoopers? anybody?

I rode with Dave quite a bit a few years ago, then his parents or inlaws moved in, kids in college etc. etc. Been pretty scarce ever since.

Yammerhammer and Rkymtnman sold their sleds too, end of last season:(

Getting to be a real expensive sport, what with high gas prices and new sleds costing so much, not to mention blown motors!

The 383 sightings are rare. . .its rarely seen in large groups unless provoked. It spends most of its time breaking trail for the turbo's trying to get to the big shoots. . .the pic of the mini van with 383 on the plate. . .priceless. . .thats the CEO of Polaris himself. . .Stue P. Dass. . .he is a huge fan. . .still sends me Christmas cards for saving Polaris. . .which was "on the way out" after coming out with the 900 rmk. . .

Seriously. . .I really do wish someone would build another 383. . .go the extra mile and build a 363. . .then come ride in the 383 National Reserve
