Long time members

Lots of long timers have dropped out of sight..., the 4M has changed a bit, some adapt and some move on. :beer; to friends that have left us!

Forum should start to pick up again. Another 2 weeks and we'll all be counting off the days until snow.

Anyone hear from "Puff700"?

Who was the guy that ran the piped Polaris 800 twin in the old school sled? Haven't seen him on the new forum yet.

You know it is just not the same as it used to be. I have not been on here for at least 2 months, yet I can still remember when it was down for 2 days and having a hard time dealing with that. I guess real life just takes hold and time for this is a luxary.

LOL well put... Anybody remember Indy650noob?? When he got nailed with that gun thing? haha, Andy and I hung out quite a bit after that but we haven't spoken in years.

When I first started here I was 17. The only things I had to worry about were having the tallest bar riser around, and making sure one girlfirend didn't find out about the other! 6 Years down the road, it's crazy to think how things have changed... A career, a mortgage, a family. I do go on SW mini-benders from time to time, but nothing like i could in the past! I guess this is one of those "stop and think" moments.

383lb800- I think the mighty 383 lost some of it's luster with the recent boom of turbo sleds. He shure cracked me up though.

you got it right that was one ulgy ride but that thing went like no other
under the big top he called it wearing the clown suit hahaha fun stuff

Thank you! Now it comes back to me. I always like reading his replies, cracked me up about 90% of the time. I also liked the 3" pvc elbow for his air intake. It would be a blast to watch him school younger kids on new sleds.

Although I never met Duncan, Puf700, I exchanged a couple hundred PM's with him. Proly since I was old enough to be his grandparent, he told me quite a bit about himself. The "puf" was extracted from his last name, and his sled was a Polaris 700 wedge.
A very intelligent and capable kid.
I don't want to go into detail here, but you (anyone)can PM me. I'll just say he struggles with some problems he was born with, and had a tough time dealing with it at times.

I'll just say, be thankful that none of the rest of us have to deal with his burden.

"Super B" from the forum asked me the same thing at Switchback's party a while back. Brandon could fill you in on what he asked me , on the same subject.

But nice of you to think of him.

I hope you told Super B that Puff doesn't swing that way. B will hit on anybody. Sometimes I have to smack him, and put him in check. He tried hitting on me once, by showing off his sweet dance moves. I just smacked him, and told him to go home. He hasn't done it since, and that was almost a year ago.
