Ok.
A guy on a m1000 broke his steering post RIGHT before we were to drop into Williams. Got him back up the ridge and tied up to a Doo (with a 2nd year rider on it)...and the Polarises went off to play.
Williams had good powder on it.
Other parts were blown down to Friday's ice crust. NO bonding to that layer.
Sometimes the weather was good. When the clouds would break for 30 seconds everyone dropped the cameras and grabbed the throttle. Hence, most of the pics had crappy lighting.
Dropped into south fork Kelly, but wind and whiteout got WORSE. And since it was about 3:00, we turned around and worked our way out.
Good seeing you guys sledfvr and you're right spring is here. Spring riding season will be a short one I'm afraid.
Our day started out leaving the truck wingnut and mb7 but that was pretty much the last time we seen them. All was well until I got stuck in the trees climbing out of the hill to the left of outhouse and then Rob stuck it in the trees on the same hill. So getting stuck a few times put us to the back of the bus in a hurry.
Winger I assumed you guys hooked up with Mike and Mark at the lake, By the time we got there you guys had been there and moved on.
Even with us not being able to keep up with our group we had a good day as all days in Surveyor are good days.
That guy on the old Polaris gen1 700 made the whole loop and back to the truck. He only paid $300 for it! Pretty cool to have him riding around with a bunch of turbo yammis.
