I don't shut my sled off long enough to post pics, I'll try to bring the camera next time though. Maybe Hoodoo again Friday skisucca. We could use some more snow, we tore most of it up yesterday.

Scott or anyone else know if or how you can scan back thru the Lolo Pass Web cam pictures?

This morning at 5:50 am it caught 2 "dogs" in the image (appear to be wolves). By the time I copied the URL image and posted it on here and then checked it had updated to a 6:05 image and the dogs were gone by then. Seems for some reason even though I copied the image that it updated to the next image automatically when the camera took it's next picture.

I have a little present for ya.

I'll get it posted up soon.

rcditchpickle- where are you guys going this weekend? I'd love to tag along if you wouldn't mind. I have a company christmas party at 6 but don't think that should be a problem. I need to get the pro broken in!

No, didn't fill the tag. Had fresh tracks. Couldn't connect.

I got an email from camera administrators. They sent me the pic.

AND

You gonna keep it a secret???

What's the plan for the weekend, I need some practice???

Cool Scott. I couldn't tell if they were just dogs or wolves. Either way at least they were headed to Idaho. lol

When i get back onto my computer, I'll post it up.

When you see it, zoom way in on it. For sure, they aren't pets off-leash.

Zoom on this.

The body looks like dog, back legs really seem like a german shepard.
But it's got SMALL ears, doesn't it? Like a young lion? Or is that just a product of weird lighting?

Whatever it is...that's not a pair of someone's pooches at 5:50am.

I brought a camera and never thought to get it out.
I will try to remember next time.

No new snow! Friday for Hoodoo may not happen. Oh well a little over a week before we head to Trout Lake, BC! :canada:

Scott, I'm not sure what type of dog (I think) is in the picture. I'll try to zoom in and check it out.
The tail is to short to be a cat and the body language or stance doesn't resemble the typical wolf.
I agree with you that they don't appear to be off lease dogs running around on top of the pass at 5:50 in the morning.
It is a weird picture though. There is a lot going on in the picture like the shadows off the dogs being cast in different directions, recent car tracks that just entered or left from the parking area headed towards Lolo, etc.

Have fun in Trout Lake.

Cool little town. I've stayed at the Windsor Hotel and that was an experience in itself. lol Food was great though. Pumping fuel out of a fuel pump from 1906 into my newly built carbon sled was also very cool in it's own way.
