Wingnut, I sound like a broken record but running amsoil in the truck also. Ran 15w/40 valvoline the first 20,000 then switched to synthetics. Most run rotella 15w/40 or dello 400 15w/40.

No pictures to prove it but snow was sticking to the ground earlier today on the north side of town. Colder weather and more snow in the forecast.
skisucca, Not to much action so far. Wife filled a deer tag. I'm headed to eastern Montana next week. I have a couple deer tags and a cow elk tag for over there. How about yourself, any luck yet?

Shot a bull elk opening weekend, nothin huge, just a nice piece of steak.
Im jealous, eastern mt is a blast for hunting.
Just gearin up for now, gotta get the snowbike kit and mount it(easy), and waiting on Boondocker to release the intercooler for the Pro kits so I can button that up.

Always good to get the elk out of the way. Good job to you guys that have done that so far. I've always said that any elk is a good elk. Meat on the table is what it's all about.

You on a boosted pro will be a sight to see. I'm looking forward to a forum ride if it comes together this year. You along with the likes of sledfvr, relentless rider, and others that get around on a sled like you guys do will make for a great show for the rest of us.

Is the plan still to go on MLK day (Jan. 16th)? I know for me and others that don't work for the gov. that might be a little tough. But the 17th would be great!! Just a thought. . .

I have spread the word of the little Snow Worshipers Festival, a pre season shindig!! as I have so dubbed it... Rooster says yeh, Lucasss will be in. And well, Johnny, you have the pimpest shop and are the nicest guy, so like I said before, I'll bring all the sled vids I have and a whole chit load of beer and two or three energy drinks for Sweeney..
Someone needs to fire up some burgers and someone needs to volunteer to cook em....
Johnny, you will have to set the date according to your schedule, then everyone else will have to adjust if they want to show...
That is of course if you are down for it...

I hesitate to commit at this time do to planned weekends (hunting season) and family current events (My sister means the world to us all and we are wishing her and Rod the best in these toughest of times).
We'll have to see how things go in the coming weeks. If all works out I think a get together would be great. My best guess is the earliest I could host such a gathering would be around the second week of December or so if that's not to late to kick off the winter festivities.
If that works I would provide the warm shop, grill, and grub if you guys provided the beverage of your choice (I could also provide bottled water, coffee, and pop).
And for the record kids are always welcome too.
