You can take a needle and poke a hole in your oiler line and over time the "black goop" will accumulate in the bottom of the belly pan. Its important that the oil is added to the fresh bark and pine needles slowly. . .as it has to allow for time to chemically break down to get the right formulation. The end product can be used for many purposes as follows:I got a suggestion for a guru class. Since I bought my new (07) IQ I have had a hard time acquiring the 6-7 lbs of black goo in the belly pan that I know the 383 has. Is there a good synthetic substitute?

Good. . .you have come to the right place. . .make sure you bring a box tooth picks for the ride home. . .you will be digging out bark for hours. Good to hear from you!Count me in 383!! Always up for some good tree scraping!! I will bring my buddy, we love the trees!!
Well Big John. . .as usual. . .you know that in the 383 camp. . .its all about the quality and not the quantity of the ride. . .its not the quantity of the miles of the ride. . .but the quality of the ride that matters. . .having said that. . .what we are attempting to do here is weed out the want-a-be's, the tunnel polishers, the whiners, the performance blingers, the parking lot posers, ditch bangers. . .the ones that think they can ride in the steep-n-deep. . .and get a group of guys together that come prepared with a pocket full of zip ties and are not afraid to use them. . .this will narrow the list down to an elite few. . .remember. . .the 383 National Reserve is not a place for good riders to become top guns. . .383 is back...
Guys who are NEW dont get it...and are offended??
Slim Norris...LOL
Weres OT??
Nice to see "alot" of old names on one thread...beeen awhile..cheers!!!-BJ
C’mon 383, you need to be more resourceful!! I don’t need any toothpicks, I will just use the splinters as I pull them from my arms!!
But what really hurts is jousting with tree branches. Most of the time I win and the shatter the tree branch, but occasionally I get ejected!! Gives me respect for Medieval Knights!! LOL
