We rode Huckleberry on Saturday. Getting to be more and more people around Lincoln anymore.

Hard in the morning and gets softer once the sun pops out. Climb anything you've the balls to try.

The knobs above the end of the road are the first to go in the spring. The road has new weird (and HUGE) drifts in it in places never before the fire.

Now is the time for the spring storms to bring it, and keep the SnoTel up above 120".
Sledding in June this year at Copper?

Definitely, in '96 I rode them on the 4th of July. June is definitely not going to be a problem.

Just got back from 3 of the best days of riding in Lincoln we have ever had. Wow! We even had 6-18 inches of fresh on Wednesday.

i thought copper creek closed down April 1?

Someone says that every year. It's NEVER closed to sledding. The road is not open to wheeled vehicle traffic on certain days of the week due to loggin operations, and not until the road bed is stable (ie dry enough) to drive on.

Copper

You can only go as far as the bridge lots of times ive seen fwp/cop sitting there especially in the spring and he wont let you by, i would think after the snow melts he would be gone and you could get up there for a last ride i know last year there was plenty left when we quit 60 degrees in the parking lot and snowing in the bowls

oh yeah!

Scott, shoot us some pics from Memorial Day 03 in that 75degree heat.....
and 90" base of snow!

I don't think I have those pics up on any website anymore. I'd have to dig them out.

I cannot until the week after, its Easter Sunday this weekend and Saturday we have a club cookout!:beer;:)
