light on my rev, what is it?

So i went up riding saturday and my rev had the ! light on bottom right.. that is the brake or low oil light right? is it still ok to run with it on if i have oil and the brake is not on? what could be making this happen.

What year ? did you remove taillight

It is a low oil light. It also comes on when you apply the brake, I guess to show the light still works. Check the oil float, probably sunk...sank?

2005 no tail light when i bought it, but i didnt think it was on when i bought it. first year with it. How do i check the float?

The Operators manual calls this the brake light. Oil light is the third up from the bottom starting at bottom left moving clockwise.
The brake has a locking lever, is that stuck on/

I took the taillight +(rack)off mine and that light came on and stayed on.
