2022 patriot boost no power under load w/t max rpm 4500

I’m stumped here I took my sled up yesterday
It was running amazing, full power, super reactive, running about 8450 to 8550 rpm
Occasionally max det (most likely too light weight 80g)
It has a brand new clutch kit in it installed by a reputable shop (had the similar problem before would randomly run like its over loaded)
But about 3 hours into riding it started bogging with no power and would not rev over 4500rpm with the belt on
With the belt off, it would hit peak RPMs and sound completely normal and reactive
So I loosened the track and changed the spark plugs about three times in the last set I put in it woke up completely normal, started ratcheting so I tighten the track back up
How about another two hours of good performance
Then started having the same symptoms as before this time I noticed it came on progressive it started bogging at low. RPMs and would open back up for a couple seconds until I let off the throttle and then progressively get worse to where it wouldn’t even open up
same problem no codes
Starts just fine
Max rpm 4500 with belt on
Could not get over 1/4 throttle or it would try to choke on itself
Sometimes it wouldn’t even move the sled on flat ground. It would feel like the brake is completely locked up (it’s definitely not)
With the belt off sounds just fine
I installed new plugs didn’t fix it
In my garage it struggles to start
fuel tank is at 35% now with 92 clear
Oil is ves and clean
And ideas?

What do the plugs look like when you pull them? Is one really wet and fouled? With no codes it sure sounds like some kind of ignition problem, losing spark. Maybe a coil or wiring issue. Just throwing ideas out there.

Slightly black the first time
Then hold/tan the second time

I had a similar running motor...ran great for 1000's of miles...came out of a corner hit the gas.. would only rev up about 50%...rode slow(55miles) back to the truck.. got it home assuming I had stuck exhaust valves, but it was the exhaust valve cable had broke (@7300 miles ) replace it and the sled ran better than when it was new.

my buddy had an issue, the cable for the wastegate actuator was coming out of the wastegate so the wastegate wasnt staying closed and wasnt getting full boost

Please help, this is exactly what my 2023 Matryx boost is doing. I took it to the dealer and they installed new injectors and while I was torn down updated reed pedals. Could not get it to work no matter what they did. While revving it up on a stand it backfired and started running great. Ran great for 200 miles and now exactly what you described for the second time.

The dealer put in new primary injectors and it runs great. I had the same issue with slow onset of bog over 1 a hour period. Same also that it would get progressivly worse until you had to hold wide open then after a 5-10 seconds wide open then cleaned out and ran great. It was all or nothing. Ran so bad that loading it up the ramp was slow. Hope this helps

I had the same issue last year and it was the TMAP sensor on the bottom of the airbox/above the motor got disconnected (I did not know there was a second TMAP sensor), would only hit 4,500RPMS, ran super rich and would not engage. Might as well check the TMAP sensor on the airbox as well.

I don't understand, how a Polaris dealer with a running sled, hooked up to Polaris Digital Wrench, would not do a sanity check on the readings of all the sensors.

Mine is doing the same thing! Did you figure out the problem?

do you all know if the wastegate should be about 1/4 open at idle because mine is and i just want to know if thats normal?? my sled is having the same type of issue and the dealer is having me pick it up because they cant figure it out!

Wastegate actuator/cable is a good guess.

On 2023's, a break in the wiring harness was also quite common - that wouldn't let it build any boost/rpm when acting up. It would generally start sporadically and get progressively worse/more frequent.

which wire hereness are you referring to? i have zero codes being thrown.

Correct. And yes it typically throws codes if that were the case.
ok, any ideas on what to check on why im hardly boosting and only reaching 7k rpm w/ belt off? the polaris dealer had me go pick up my sled because they couldnt figure it out! they relearned the exhaust valve and wastegate and told me they were functioning correctly.
