lets see your mountain max.

Here's my 950. It's got a Price 950 built by MadMax, a 162x2.5 CE and lots of lightweight parts. The list goes on and on.
Might be up for sale soon.:(

Rev seat.... Huh?
As far as e brake cable go the best thing to do is go to a Willwood master cylinder like the older Arctic cats used for years. They have a nice built in park brake. Then you can do away with all the mechanical park brake junk. You will need an adapter fitting to go from the metric Yamaha Brake fluid line into the standard Willwood master cylinder.
Another mod that works is to use the stock master cylinder and cut off the mechanical park brake. You can build a little wedge out of aluminum and attach it with some wire so it just hangs down off the Maser cylinder. When you need to set the park brake just pull in on the brake lever and jam the wedge in there. When you want to take back off just squeeze your brake lever and the wedge falls right out. Very simple but effective.

Hartman for bare alumuminum extensions.
Mountain Performance for powder coated extensions.

Also on those e brake cables... A Late model MT Viper cable should be longer than the MM cable. Not sure how much longer though.

i need to get a tunnel extention for mine, and i would like a smaller seat. does anyone know the best place to look?

You can get a tunnel extension from harman or mountain performance if you wanted a smaller and lighter get the boss high rise I think they may still be in stock at www.firstplaceparts.com it the new design that they came out this year.

There are a few options, one would be to do a drop and roll kit to give you enough room. (Northern lites makes a kit and there is a guy on here that does them as well, triplesneverdie i think is his name)

What i did to mine so i could fit an A20 was trim a little off of each lug to make it fit, i trimed just enough to keep the digging finger on the lug.

Another thing to look at is the size of your drivers. If you can drop a tooth on your driver or make the diameter smaller you can probably make it fit.

I have heard of people taking a grinder to the cooler or relocating it by have never seen it done personally.

I am sure there are many other options but these are a few.

Yea, I build an extended chaincase kit for the the Mountain Max and other Yamaha 2-strokes. There are many benefits to an extended chaincase.
PM me for more info.
