Waterloo IA here! Don't ride alot in iowa though. Heading to the snowies in a week, there's a group of us that heads out there 3 times a season. We range from Waterloo,DesMoines,Brodhead WI,and Spencer IA. Traded my 08 D7 155 for a 11 Pro RMK 155 this year so I'm pretty pumped to get west! If your around these parts and you see someone in a shirt with a big WKM and a sled sillouette on the back it's one of us. We call ourselves White Knuckle Motorsports and are pretty fanatical about riding the mountains. Spent our day in the shop today getting a bunch of the sleds ready and just BS'ing and smack talking.

I am from Sioux City. Yesterday I traveled up to Russel Minn to Camden state park. Got a new 2010 M8 and couldn't take it anymore, just had to ride it. They have 20" of snow but it had rained and was pretty hard. We got lucky and they had gotten about 6"of new stuff. Out in the open was terrible but we got in the trees on the river bottoms and it was pretty good. At least I got the breakin tank of gas through it. Seemed to run harder and harder as the day went on. Amazing Machine!

Your going to love that pro. The snowies has great snow, just got back from trip #4 for the year.

so... its been almost 2 weeks since steelman's last comment here... whats new, guys!?The snow outside is looking good but near 30s coming up this week.
Be nice, big brother is watching. We have not had a very good start to the 2011 year. Wife's grandmother passed away and we just found out that her dad has cancer. It is in the very early stage and they feel it will go good, but you never know.

look like we're done with riding in iowa for the season unless we get blizzard in march! just the way I remember there was a blizzard here in mid-march back in 2007 or 2008 I dont remember.

We had a good start last year for the Iowa forum
Not much happen lately, been ridding the bike and busy with work. Lets hope this winter has a little more snow for us in SW Iowa. As we get closer to the ridding season, post away and lets have another good year. Remember to post your pics.

We have got a lot of visitors this summer, here at the Iowa Forum. We are getting closer and would be nice to turn them into paid members. Post away and lets have another good year.. It been fun, thanks to the ones that have posted and help get the Iowa Forum off the ground.
