I'm not one to get on here and bad mouth dealerships or companies but I am truly less than impressed with Rexburg Motorsports delivery system.
Here's the story. A buddy snowchecked a brand new 2012 800 163 Pro Ride. Due to him living in MN the dealership told him it would be no problem for them to hold onto it until he could make it out west to pick it up. Well due to his work situation and lack of winter happening out here he hasn't been able to make it out until this coming weekend. Somehow our friend and Rexburg Motorsports came to an agreement so that they could deliver it to our house here in Bozeman. They told us that they would be here around 3:30 so one of the roomates made time in his day to be here when the sled arrived. Guy doesn't get here until around 5:30, whatever, no big deal the roads were probably bad.
Delivery guy shows up with the sled on the trailer with no cover on it. My roomate and I look at each other confused because our friend ordered a cover with the sled (along with oil, belt and some other goodies). The sled, mind you is brand spankin' new with 0 miles on it but is covered with about 1/4-1/2 of ice, road grime and salt. I ask the guy "Why didn't you guys put the cover on it?" and he replies "Oh I didn't know there was one" then looks over at the passenger side of the truck and goes "oh wait here it is". Again my roomate and I just look at each other in utter confusion. I tell the delivery guy "Hey man I'm not one to shoot the messenger, but what the fkc? This is a brand new sled?" (I've never owned a brand new sled but never had one ever get this dirty). The delivery guy goes "yeah sorry, its not my deal, talk to the dealership".
So we get the sled unloaded and the guy goes to turn his truck and trailer around in our neighbors driveway (when there is a empty park parking lot directly across the street), drives the trailer off the driveway/off the colvert breaking out one of his trailer lights and taking out a chunk of asphalt with the corner of his trailer all in our neighbors driveway...very impressive 15 minutes...
Moral of the story, If you want something done right, do it yourself...
