Reinell - What a solid boat! I grew up on a Reinell - my dad has owned 3 of them. I'm excited to hear your LP report...

LMAO I think you guys are in one of my pics!!! Were the two of you standing on a the beach/rocks taking that pic??? did you happen to see a Cobalt towing in a Cobalt?

Nope not us.
We were loading last night when we passed it.

Makes sense that something broke since they sunk it again and floated a barricade around it overnight.
It was getting loaded tonight around 6:00. Must be one He11 of a recovery bill.

yeah, and you thought recovering a snowmobile was expensive!

Thanks.:beer;:)
I'll be the one behind the boat with a wet or dry suit on, depending the time of day we're playin;).

Are you serious? 70° is wetsuit temps? LOL. We've usually shed the wetsuit when it gets up to about 57°. LOL

Memorial Day, 2009, at Seeley Lake, MT. Water temp was 48° and peeps were skiing in shorts and a life vest. HAHA.

Oh yeah I was serious. You guys are freaks! But to be honest we haven't pulled them out yet. It helps when the outside temps are 80 to 90. It's all good and we are having a blast. Sad to say it is pretty much over.:face-icon-small-sad For this trip anyhow.:p

The water was perfect in the heat of the day just a little nipply in the moring:)

The story I got on the sinking house boat was that 1 house boat went down completely in the bouy field and that another went down but they saved it. I dont know if the one in the pic is the one they saved or not but I would say let that ***** sink!!

The morning after the wind storm that sunk the boats and blew our house boat off the shore breaking one anchor and another rope we had all kinds of sh!t washed up on the shore. We first thought it was just garbage but found a complete house cabinet full of dishes and what seemed to be a cabinet drawer bull of tools, fuel filters and spark plugs. Was kinda freaky thinking that a house boat sank near us and we were happy to hear it was just in the bouy field. I just hope no one was on it. Lots of people come in late and will just stay on the bouy field the night they get their and then leave out in the am.

But by the looks of sldhd's pic we were in the same place at pretty much the same time and didn't know it. My dads boat lost a fuel pump so I was towing it back in when we saw the boat. Aramarc pretty much had one complete dock filled with higher ups taking pics of the broken crain.

Lake Powell is truely a beautiful place that can become a nightmare in a blink of an eye!! Much respect for that place. We sleep on the top of our house boat and I make my kids use their life jackets as pillows just in case sh!t goes bad in the middle of the night...I don't get much sleep there trying to sleep with one eye open worrying about my family and my boat:) But still a great time to be had:)

Alpine Loop

Had a little time on my hands, since the powell trip was cut short, so I done rode up to see the snow at timp, its kinda scarce, but the mountain is riduclously green, and pretty right now.

What was the date of the wind storm ? and what type of anchor was it that broke ? that's a bit of a issue for sure, not much you can do but watch you boat drift with the wind....
