Dude, how do you ride a tube? Those things beat the shiz out of me every time. Especially when the wife drives me:eek:

Oh they dont hurt too bad as long as you can hang on. It's when you get tossed off that hurts for me. When I go skidding accross the water like I am back surfing, that's when it hurts. I am still young enough to take it i guess.

I'm taking my family there the second week of September out of Bullfrog. Renting a houseboat. Any pointers for a good place to park and explore/ski?
Here's a pic from yesterday

How do I get it to show?
I would say park the houseboat as soon as you can and just use the motor boats. In sept shade will not be crucial. The house boats are slow and expensive!! when we go for quick trips or late season where we don't need shade we just go across the bay and tie up on in the sand.

Come on up any time. We have private access to the beach and we can launch and pick up any time you want.

The FARMALL SUPER M, the official tractor of Bear Lake. HA HA too funny. We run the farmall too except its just a little 230.

I see you are on the east side? Whereabouts? Our place is in Bear Lake Sands.

Very good point. September is a great time to go cuz the kiddies are in school so less people, better water, cooler air temps and still warm water. You could go anywhere and have a great time.

We are just north of you. East Shore Subdivision.
I was telling Scott that he should see that side of the lake on the 4th of july weekend. Hundreads of boats and tractors on the beach

True that, it looks like a hillbilly tractor festival! And there are all old 60-70's tractors. No better way than to make your own boatramp.

We are up there 2-3 weekends a month all summer long, my inlaws live in bearlake too. PM me where your at, I'll stop by some time and say hello.

It depends on how many miles you want to put on the House Boat. I would head down to Ice Berg or Slick Rock area. Good camping and great water.:D
About 20 miles each way.

BTW: where were you skiing? Looks like Deer Creek
But my first guess would be Utah Lake after seeing where you're from.

Utah Lake. Is 20 miles far enough to get away from people in September? How long does that take in a houseboat?

Hey, any idea on the water temp??? That is very important to me. We are headed to Bull Frog tomorrow. Yee Haw!!!!!!!!!:D:beer;
