Ladies Ride

So, does anybody know about a place where we can either rent big rivet gun for the huge rivets that hold the structure together, or point to a shop that does it? Or should we just use screws?

screws-screws-screws

that way at AM if you have problems you can fix it "easier". And the spindel is that cast piece that your ski/A-arms bolts onto.

I bet AMDS has that main piece in stock probably about $200 or so though.

Thanks guys. It seems like the spindle is OK...
Does anybody know how to get the chain case off? I pulled the gears and everything incl. the circular clip, busted the rivets but it still holds by the "shaft", everything else is loose. Do I need to work it from the left side somehow?

I will have to look at my manual, but to not have oil loss it has to be pressed on, with some sort of seal.

i WILL take a look and let you know. I have never had to pull mine.

Wow, that was too much work! After many broken nails, 2 blood blisters and oil and grease up to my elbows and behind every nail, it's back together and running again. IT's good to know that there is still some snow left!

Years ago my wife organized a ladies ride up Placer Valley. As you can tell from the snowmachines it was a while ago. She was really disappointed to have missed this latest ride. Her only really concern is that she would be oldest one there. I don't see the what that matters but I guess to some women it must, o'well just let your riding speak for yourself.

Age don't matter when you are the youngest rider (beside the teenage daughters) LadyRev, right? I am sure most of us feel "old" by the end of hard day of riding....:D

Hey Ladies, why don't you PM me your email addresses so I can send you rest of those photos? :cool:

I sure felt "old" at the end of the day. I had various aches and pains the next day. So that's what getting old feels like :D;)

Missed ya this weekend ~ how are the repairs going?

Pics on the way :beer;
Yeah, I was terribly missing everybody as well! But we got the sled together and I am in Valdez now, hoping that it'd quit snowing and clear up a little.
What are your plans for the weekend after this one?
