KLIM GEAR, STEEP DISCOUNT?

Klim warranty SUCKS!

Dont buy Klim!

If you have a hole in the knee fabric and you butt gets wet, VOID!

The lower pant leg started to get wet more and more. Then it would build ice after getting wet and the ice would rubb the crap out of the fabric wearing it out worse! Then the ice would break threads holding sht together and pull it apart! Then the next day, wetter and wetter!

Clearly a water proof issue!

KLIM WARRANTY ROCKS, NEVER HAD AN ISSUE> AND THEIR GEAR ROCKS!!

Yeah, but dude, you live in Wisco! I mean, seriously...:face-icon-small-sho

Honestly though, you say you've never had an issue, does that mean you've never had a warranty issue? Or that you've warrantied things & they've taken care of them 100% of the time? If so, how many things? Considering how many people I've heard of having issues with warranty, if you've had an item or two that they DID warranty, that's not much of a cross section. That's the way it should be, but when people get screwed after paying that kinda cash THOSE are the instances that I want to know about, as I don't want to be in that situation.

When you pay that kind of money for gear, you ARE PAYING for them to take care of you when the problem happens.

When my guys buy hilti tools, it's a rare instance that one of them drops a tool & hilti doesn't just fix it for free. I pay about 20% extra for Hilti tools because of this, since damage happens a lot. This is how I look at paying premo prices for Klim, Motorfist, Arc teryx, and other companies that charge high dollar.

Ive bought only Klim gear for the past 3-4 years cuz it keeps me dry and warm!

I have worn-out a few pairs of gloves and a pair of boots. I didnt send them in for warranty cuz I know I wore them out. Probably should have sent them in the very first day they started to get wet, but didnt cuz I thought they were a wear item and would wear out.

But these pants were clearly getting wet! AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN WARRANTEED!

I rarely agree w/ Kaleb, but OK maybe this one time......

There warranty is hit and miss, my experience is the 1st item was re-stitched.
But every item after which was denied repair or replacement whether it was stiching or broken zippers.

On the other hand, my buddy sent in his 1st item last spring, an old=4or5 year pair of bibs that were no longer waterproof. He was sent a brand new current year set of bibs, no questions, go figure....

Their prices are ridiculous, their warranty is a joke, i'm a disgruntled customer.....blah, blah, try motorfist, i did....but they also, are pushing their prices up to test the market....

I have had Klim Bibs, Coat, Boots, and Gloves. Up til now the only issue I have had is with their gloves, they didn't last very long and they refused to warranty them. (Which was a whole other huge thread) I noticed at the end of last year my bibs started to leak in the arse region. I am going to send them in and see how it pans out. (Hopefully better than the gloves) If it doesn't go in my favor I am going to go a different direction and try some high end ski gear from a local company that warranties all their products no questions asked. Woops, got off on a tangent. I have never seen their gear discounted unless it was a previous years model.

If you are referring to my bibs, I give all the credit to Michelle for getting that handled. Klim sucked when trying to get NEW gloves warrantied.
