Just brought my new pro

Yeah it's a 14 pro so it's got the belt drive. I just came off of a 12 so not much of a change..

Just went and Paid up for my 2014 hold over 163- ( it's still in the crate) Not picking it up till Mid- November-- No use to have it till I need/ want it

Have been noticing that some 2014's come with the low windshield like yours and some with the Higher windshields like in the 1st post.. What Gives?

Dealer said low is standard.. and BTW from him for 8,000' they shave 2 grms off the each weight- ( for the 163 vs the 155) balance the clutch ( primary) Also was good enough to buy my primary back from me as I ordered a Elect start kit-
Pretty good deal and must have wanted my business- as I have owned cat's and doo's for years- and only Poo back in the XLT / Edge day's

Looking forward to fix it kit( MTN TeK) after warranty is gone ot 1200 miles which ever comes first......Installed dozens of these and only one failure:face-icon-small-coo

Anyone in Utah/ Wyoming wanting the primary balanced $85.00 plus shipping from a guy I know in Utah....... Have saved me nothing but $$$ from the Edge day's
Be buying add-os- at the Denver and Utah Snow show's next month
What ya all think of an extra QD gates 8MGT-720-36 belt and where on earth you all carring them ( Tunnel Bag?)

S/C

Polaris uses a proprietary 11mm pitch on QD. Unless you run a gear down kit you're stuck with the Polaris 2205250. I've seen in another post a company selling a waterproof bag that i mounted on in the same place as the spare drive belt but on the opposite side but I can't seem to find the post

I'd be nervous as you will become more confident of a rider and eyeing tougher to reach places thinking I can make that.

Local dealer here also said to keep fuel on eth setting (even if using non eth gas) as all gas has some level of eth in it.

IMO...I wouldn't touch the oiler or odds are you are going to void the warranty. If the experts thought the oiler needed to be turned up, it would have been in the later years. Again, just my opinion...maybe you should ask your dealer about this.

IMO...warm up to 120 is a little excessive. My magic number is 90-100, as typically you have a few mile ride in and within a few miles you'll hit 120.
