jail time. what do you think they should do?

I agree also there are somw wrongful convictions. But theres a preaty good chance that the person thats in there did something else along the way and did'nt get caught for it.Carma.They should sit and rott. But if there is no doubt that this person or persons did commit the crime there shoud be no wait. Charged, convicted, sentenced, sentence carried out ASAP!!!!

yes that is about the only down side to the subject. that would suck if they didnt have anything to do with it.

I still like my, if your found guilty, the family gets to decide what to do with you.

You get chained to a chair, the cops leave. The lights come up, and the entire family is sitting there. They just need to make sure there's a drain in the floor, and a hose pipe to wash the room down with.

Too bad we can't trust cops to solve a crime, and get the right people.

wasnt there a warden or sheriff in AZ i think, he had the inmates sleeping in wall tents and working chain gangs? seems like a good plan as long as its secure. they dont deserve any luxuries. if its a clear cut case and they are guilty ****em. take them out back. my gf watches alot of crime shows on cable and some of them get my blood boiling. nothing but scum.

Sheriff Arpaio. Also made the inmates buy all of their meals and they worked on chain gangs.

Thats the guy. I particularly like..

"Arpaio believes that inmates should be treated as harshly as legally possible to emphasize the punishment aspect of their incarceration."

"In October 2005, Arpaio started mandatory two-week English classes for non-English-speaking inmates at his jails."

"These inmates happen to be incarcerated in the United States of America and in Maricopa County where I run the jails. We speak English here, not foreign languages."

"Arpaio said to complaining inmates, "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and the soldiers are living in tents and they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your mouths."

YES, like the movie HOSTEL. O O O that would suck. and make all the inmates watch that movie ALL DAY LONG every day. and have the jail sorounded by a welding shop so they can hear grinders all day and maybe a saw mill so they can hear some of the tools they get to get cut up with!!! OOOOO SH!T... Then spread them sum b!tchs as fertilizer and save some farmers money on fertilizer costs.

My Dad always said if he caught any criminals steeling anything from him he was gonna take the excavator bucket and place it on there toes and slowly curl the bucket back and crush them inch by inch from toe till there head unless they admit to it then just roll the bucket fast and get it dun.

A co-worker of mine, based in Australia, has been working in various countries in Asia his whole life. I don't remember the specific country, but that is how they do things. For example; people convicted of rape are tied up in the city center. The family gets round 1. Do what ever you want to the scum bag. If they are still alive, then the public can come in and finish them off. Guess how many rapes happen per year. NONE!

We are way too soft on people and crime is out of control. If the consequences were more severe, crime would go way down. I guarantee it.

I completely agree, crimes really go unpunished in america. 3 meals and a cot is not a punishment especially since 1/2 these people can't function in the world normally and support themselves. To them prison is a get out of jail free card.
I like that dude from AZ, I think I also heard he was being charged with cruelty or something....more liberal BS.
Now as far as a death sentence, yes they keep people on it WAY to long but if you've ever seen the movie The Life of David Gale you'll look at death sentences differently. Now I don't see any reason why they can't put a bullet in your head after you've been convicted for more than one murder....the system isn't great but if it gets you more than once....your a guilty MFer!

I know this much, joseph duncan oughta have a road cone shoved up his azz and be filled up with maggots.......rotten SOB

if you think the us is lazy on criminals, have peek at our norther neighbors. crime is a good life up there

i think the only two good people in our town that involved with the judicial system and the law are the sherrif and one of the judges. on the 3rd and 4th of july the sherrif tells all his deputies to leave the minors alone unless they are causing trouble and the judge is cool too. if you get your first MIP he will only charge you 60 bones and it wont go on your record! ha ha

Everyone is SO scared they might convict the wrong person.
Does it happen, yes. Does it happen often, not anymore.

Our justice system is a joke.
If you are found guilty of murder, you should be executed.

Sheriff Joe also has pink jump suits for uniforms. Inmates complain about the tents, sandwiches etc. He says tuff, if you dont like, it dont come back. There are no favors in Maricopa county.

If there is DNA or beyond a reasonable doubt. Carry out the sentance. There is a manditory appeal process for the death sentance that takes a long time.

Child molesters deserve prison, they are targets. Usually stabbed a number of times for fun.

We have a prison in BV and you see work details all over town. They fix up the parks, street detail, Christmas lights etc. Town goverment stuff and state or charity work. Its nice to see them working for .25/hour.
