Island Park / West Yellowstone Riding Conditions for 2024-2025

I was in all the holes off two top. It just doesn't compare to home (revelstoke/sicamous) Sorry. It isn't really big country the way it is made out to be. Seems to be the go to place for trail sleds and running between pubs
I doubt all the holes because there is never track but if you ride up there i get that. Lame compared to that.

just got home and 1 of my sleds and my sons sled needs new tracks. been a rough couple of years with low snow on our tracks. trees, stumps, etc

so who has seen this sign around the lionshead area? more importantly i am wondering if any of his riding buddies are still riding sleds or happen to be on here. i do alot of research on avalanche deaths and this is by far one of the worst ones i have read about. also this is by far the sketchiest set of hills in island park. i will give it some time before i share more info and see if someone else knows this spot.

of all the places in the whole Island Park Caldera, Lion's Head is by far and away the one I visit the least.

Not much snow on Lionhead when we were there this year but better terrain than other areas we rode. I must be unlucky as have visited area four times now in eight years and have to run with scratchers down all the time.

My wife went with some people to Black Canyon area today. She just texted me saying it is currently raining
