Getting close to to much here On the west slope of Donner Summit in California. About 2 more feet and it will become real difficult finding places to move it.

Well since I only have a couple inches at my house in Riverton Utah I'll have to say there is never too much snow. It's funny the snotel graphs are just barely above normal and people think there is so much snow here. That just goes to show how crapy the snow has been the last 10 years. This should be normal every year. Yes the snow is great but I have never seen too much snow. That's like saying can you have too much money, or a girl too hot? There is no such thing.

kitimat has held the record for most snow in a 24hour period 6+ feet a couple of times the one we had last may was big took us 5 days to open our trails back up.this was just overnight.:D:

Boy am I glad I don't ride a Yamaha, there is no way I could do all that shoveling just to go sledding. LOL

I have plowed my driveway at least a dozen times ,normally only do it 4 times year. I have shoveled off my hanger roof once and will need to do it again and have just finished shoveling off the roof of my house. I am complain about to much snow?, heck no I own a XP!

I really cant tell you if there is such a thing as "too much" snow because I have never seen anything like those pics posted by Iamvector in person. But Ill tell you what, going through all that snow must be gnarly. In the end, more snow is better than less snow in my opinion.

man o man...i think i messed up the keyboard here....gotta love snow....hope they send lots this way....all we got is flippin cold weather and no new in a while, its all windblown this year for some stupid reason....really gotta look to find good powder!...but thats usually the funnest!

I think Vector needs a bigger shovel!!!

I don't know about too much but I wish MN could just get a foot or two.

13 more sleeps to Island park for me!!! it's gonna be goooooooodddd!:D

There must be such a thing as too much snow---

Fordman cancelled his guided tour for this weekend---He says it is too deep!!

With 6.5 feet in the last week and 138" base at the pass--add at least 2+ more feet in most of the areas at elevation where we ride.

Even if the AVY conditions where not off the charts--it might be to deep:eek:

WOW--Did I really say that:confused:

It all depends on the sled and the track If you have a Sled with a 136" or a Crossover type sled, then yes there is to much snow for that type of sled, unless you are a really, really good rider. If you sled is anything bigger/same as 144"x2" lug then you might have a decent chance, if you know the abilities of your sled and the best way to ride your sled in the deepest snow.

Holy! That's alot! We are getting pretty much here also, buddies that live 80 miles from me are afraid to go riding up their river on their 136" sleds. They are waiting for me to go bust trails for them. :)

local ski run said they got 14" thursday so i skiped school friday and went up sledin and they didnt have no 14".... we couldnt go anywhere...powder was so deep up high i couldnt make it anywhere on my 800 REV and naturaly i didnt have my camera so i took some with my cell phone but dont know how to put them on here. we ended up going home because we couldnt make it anywhere...and i dont know why in the hek we did!

Jeez, you guys get all the snow, and we're hurting for some fresh. No meaningful snow in most of MN since mid December.:face-icon-small-dis
At least I made the journey to Togwotee in early January.
