Hey man - when a guy asks about avy conditions, not real cool to have some sarcastic reply - JMHO.

Last report that I had was the second highest level of danger. Check out the avy conditions for that area. Two friends saw numerous natural slides this past week and saw a lot of huge, wind blown cornices just waiting to trigger. Avy conditions change daily, keep checking as ok conditions one day could be not ok the next day. Know how to look for sign, analyze a pit, proper equipment and, above all, use your head. Have fun but be safe.

my advise on the Avy cond other that the daily reports is that when out around any decent slopes-Lionshead-Sheep-Teepee-Jefferson, u should ALWAYS take it serious,
unless yur taken and staying to any beaten path...
always ride so you can ride again:sun:

What's the name of the pizza place connected to Strozzi's? Is it Wild West Pizzaria? Whatever it's called, it is AWESOME! I can't wait to be eating there next week. :beer;

I recognize that poor bastard.
HEY i swear i felt a avy starting thats why i pulled it!!
Man that sucked!! Worst 100 bucks i ever spent right there. Its all Bret's fault for getting into that snake pit of his. Ripped my new pair of Klim bibs on that trip as well. What luck i have. Oh BTW Klims new repair minimum has went from 25 to 50 bucks. Just to add insult to injury!

hey jason did you forget to mention the the crack in your hood and windshield. o ya i didn't get off scott free on this trip either. i got a speeding ticket in ND on the way home.

Thats minor stuff Shon. Already got the ziptie stitches in the hood. Only took 2 so it isnt that bad. As for the wings on the windshield those things suck balls.

great snow

Just got back from West last night. Big thanks to Kurt and Shell for the great hospitality as always;) Nice meeting and riding with some great people from MN and Canada. We found some untouched back in Teepee on Friday:face-icon-small-ton

To you guys who have stayed at the Goldenwest:

There are two of us coming from Canada via Colorado and don't need a monster place to stay. Just a place to sleep, shower and BS. We can eat out or toss food in a mini fridge.

Is the Goldenwest for us?
