Well we ended up goin' to West after all. I got told I was the only one that wanted to go to Cooke. Oh well we had a Freakin' Blast! But Sunday morning my sled wouldn't start and it had a broken A-arm and Shock shaft. :confused: Worst thing about it is I have no idea how it happened. :confused: Almost wondering if it got stole for a joy ride and returned after they broke it and ran it out of gas. :eek: 'Cause it rode fine to dinner, the bar and back and comin' out of Cabin Creek. It sure does have me boggled. Got to meet OffTrail and we found some awesome powder before we met him. The 174" works like a menice and I broke over the top of two hills without a single track on them. One is that hill where the groomer turns around just before Cabin Creek, and the other is a secret place nearby. All in all I had enough fun to break some sh!t :devil:

steve (minnesotam7) just emailed me a great pic.. i think ill get this one framed..

by the way, how come the only pics of me are when i get unbelievably stuck?? :beer;

Wow, thats an impressive stick... I dont think rolling it over to get out is an option w/that one...:p
I got to say after reading the past couple pgs and then googling some stuff, im going to give this area a serious look for my trip next yr vs Tog... Looks like the riding is just as good, but the big thing is both lodging and rentals look to be a good deal cheaper. Plus like how we wouldnt be stuck to eat at one place the whole time, we could walk to a few different spots at the end of the day for some grub... About the only ive found against it is the nearest airport is 90-100 miles away, bozeman or jackson hole correct??

bozeman is 90 miles
jackson hole is like a 3 hour ride
idaho falls is 90 miles

having flew into all 3, id try bozeman if i were you.. really not a bad ride unless it is blowing 40 m.p.h., so icey i would have been better off on a pair of ice skates along with some kindof frozen rain/sleet/hail like it was for me on the way back to the airport. my arsehole was so tight you couldnt have driven a needle up it with a sledge hammer..

forgot to mention how well we ate while out riding courtesy of the slow cooker on the rental skidoo and steves oven on the m1000.. eggrolls & venison sausage one day. rib-eye sandwich, venison steak and sausage the next along with some pretzels and cold pizza.. by the way, why is is that you always have to take a tremendous dump when you are in the worst possible place? like cold as he!! and the wind is blowing 20 m.p.h.
