Inviting all sledders to West Yellowstone

Have to vent and share this. About a half hour ago I get a phone call. Guy on the other end is in a hurry and asks, is this Kurt, I say yes. He says that he has been on SnoWest a couple of times and remembers running across my thread. He asks if I have a shop and I say yes. He asks if he can use it as his sled is froze up. I ask him where he is staying and he says Motel X. I tell him to ask motel X to use there shop. He says they don't have a shop. I tell him that he might want to keep that in mind for his next trip. He then says well they have a swimming pool and you don't. To which I replied, ya but I have a shop. He then says [and this is not sh!t] FO and hangs up. My felling is my shop is just that MY SHOP, for me and MY customers. Not for motel X's customers. Most people on here know me and know that I will go out of my way to help EVERYONE. If he would have given me the chance I would have told him because he wasn't staying with me I would have charged him $25.00, as my heat and electricity is not free. But he never gave me the chance. Rant over, HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE................

So does this mean you 2 arent going to be exchanging christmas gifts?:D

Anyway, we'll see you saturday night in your nice and warm shop!!:beer;

cant speak for HD's pics but we got into some decent pow in back side of Carrot Basin...but you had to be pretty careful, as there are some hidden gems under the snow...this current snow ill set up for a nice base though... when we get more big dumps or just constant snow, it will be killer!!!

That will be awesome. I didn't think that we could have snow as good as last year, but it is sure looking that way. I can't wait to have fresh handle bar deep powder again

Does anyone know if there is even an interest in trading a loaded 05 EFI f7 SnoPro for a m7 or equal value mountain sled in w. yellowstone? Im heading down the 4th of next month... I'm thinking the chances are slim but maybe there is someone who has a mountain sled that can no longer leave the trail or what not due to injuries and would like to trade for a trail sled (or any reason for that matter)... Just throwing it out there. I'd post this is the swap meet but this thread is more specific...

weather.com:

Winter's icy grip on the western third of the country strengthens through much of the upcoming week.

The latest winter storm that blanketed the Northwest in snow and ice moves into the Intermountain West bringing mostly snow Monday.

:eek:A foot or more of snow is possible over the higher elevations of Idaho, Montana, western Wyoming and northern Utah. :eek:

Southern mountains should pick up mainly 4 to 8 inches of snow, except in Colorado where 10 to 15 inches are possible.

Lower elevations could pick up 3 to 6 inches of snow.

Rain from this system is possible over the lower elevations of southern Nevada, Arizona, southern New Mexico and California.

By Tuesday this system should move eastward into the Plains leaving only a few snow showers over the mountains in its wake.

A new storm approaches the central California coast later Tuesday bringing a new round of lower elevation rain and mountain snow to the Golden State.

This system should remain far enough south of Portland and Seattle sparing them more wintry precipitation.
