One day left! Then back to the real world. Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been (is) snowing and snowing and snowing and snowing. yesterday the highway from West to IP was closed. Today we saw four tow trucks trying to get a Fedex semi out of the ditch. The wind let up today, yesterday was bad. Right now it is snowing as hard as it can snow and has been doing so for maybe 4 hours. Load em up and get here! We have to leave-if we can get out HEHE!!

Thursday a.m., Kurt and the ND Sled Dogs

Hi Kurt: Thursday, the ND Sled Dogs are coming out and would love to solve your "nobody to ride with" problem. Can't believe the POW in those pictures! If it's alright with you, we won't go teasing any avalanche areas, but we do want to carve up those deep draws! You can stop the wind any old time.

WOW!!IS ALL I CAN SAY!!

just got back home :( last night at about 1:30.. had the friggin time of my life!!

thaks to kurt and shell for there hospitality and a place to party!! :) met numerous and numerous very cool people!! thanks to steve (mm7) and bradical and there crew for being so nice to show us around on monday, even going WAY OUTTA there way to put up with my buddy (who got stuck numerous times) and wife who was a bit hesitatant to ride were we wanted to go.. (ok, maybe i got stuck once or twice..) too... ;)

kurt, thanks for showing us all around on wednesday! man, that was some unreal scenery!!

after wednesday, it all went downhill.. i got sick as a fawkin dog!! slept from 5 p.m. on thursday till 9 a.m. on friday, sweating, chills and felt like i had 1 foot in the grave... stopped at the clinic friday.. after a painfull shot in the azz by the nurse, who was kinda cute, a z pack and $230 later.. i am on the road to recovery.. :)

one of the many highlights of the trip was on thursday i think, we took a leasurely ride from the cabin into town to get some lunch, well, we come up on the first intersection on the trail about 3 miles west of town, and there is this beautiful shorthair pointer wondering around.. so, being the dog lover that i am, i hit the brakes and the dog comes running over.. i start to pet her, shes whimpering and obviously lost. i didnt want her to get more lost so i held her collar while we all petted her and tried to figure out what to do with her. she had a collar on with a phone number that was not from west. i called it, no answer.. left a message.. we talked about it a bit more and my wife says, "i think thats a texas area code"... well, i couldnt just leave the dog there so, i lifted her up and proceeded to climb on the sled.. i couldnt believe it but, the dog was actually letting me give it a sled ride to town.. lol... well, got to town, talked to shell, she led us to the pound where i was hesitant to leave the dog.. i called the # on the tag again, nothing.. even went to the internet cafe to try and look up the # on reverse lookup.. nothing.. well, over lunch my buddy says "i think one of the guys we rode with wednesday was from texas".. a few hours of me wondering how i was gonna get the dog to florida if the owner didnt call back went by.. about 5 p.m., the phone rings.. it turned out to be the the owner, who infact was one of the guys we rode with who was in steves group (MINNESOTAM7)... he was happier than a pig in chit.. i told him where the dog was and he got her back safely.. i was amazed the dog let me carry her on the sled and its a good thing she did or she may still be out there..

anyway, ill post pics in a minute here...

thanks again to kurt and shell, steve, brad and crew, caveman, and many others i cant remember there names for everything!!! we had a great time!!!

aaawwwwwwww chit!!!!! i just remebered.. we forgot to sign the wall.......

well... its my fault that its not up yet.. first off, i was having too good a time drinking and riding to worry about it, then, on th elast day we were there, i ran into town to set it up at kurts place and realized i forgot the fawkin power cord and the mount. so, i told kurt, ill just mail it to him him i get back home.. so, we drive to jackson hole, on the way, i find the cord in one of my bags.. but, i just got back from the post office where i priority mailed both cord and mount to kurt..

pics coming up!!

Hey Kurt, I like that view outside your window and I bet it gets a whole lot better a few miles from town! I find it hard to believe you have no one to ride with... that is more my story line! Don't worry, I will be down in a few weeks and you know how much I like to ride. I'm getting excited about it and thanks for all the pictures guys. By the way, is that Cave getting chased down the hill by that avy? Glad no one was hurt! :p
