Here are a couple of pictures I took of a small slide that we set off. We only put one person on the hill at a time and when he made his turn at the top it broke loose on him. All in the group had there avalanche equipment. He was able to out ride it. This hill was about 28 degrees and showed no sign of letting loose. There was three different layers of bad snow and it let loose on the bottom layer..................

great reminder Kurt!!! and thanks for the information on the slope angle!!! where was this at? Also cool to see that people were not sitting right at the bottom of the run out area...

always pays to ride with safety conscious people!!!

Don't know if West got hit, Island Park did. It's Blowing like an SOB right now, if it was Snowing it would be complete White out conditions.

Hey ND900Cat...tell your brother that I am still waiting for that bottle of Crown Royal because we helped him get that sled out of there. LOL

Glad everyone had a great trip and no one got hurt. I know we had a great time there and wish we could have stayed longer. But there will be another day that we can make it down there this season.

Got back Fri. night. Thanks to Kurt and Shel and Caveman for the hospitality!! Here's a few pics
