Interest In SE Idaho Forum ride

Always up for a ride and willing to split the Diesel

Sledhauler07, i am in poky, and am always up for a ride. I do most of my riding in the preston area. Just let me know once the snow starts to build up. Also there is a doo talk ride in January in the bear lake area.

I was thinking about that After I mentioned Jeff. Lots a places to get into trouble. Maybe Blacks Canyon area? I don't know the rest of IP that well. I mostly ride in the big holes.

Bring em along! Im not huge in to climbing personally. Hade a couple bad experiences so I like to stick to the trees and boondocking.

what about the time you got lost from the group... and hiked out cause you sled was stuck? that was in the trees while boondocking...

rexburg motorsports will have rides all winter. Just like the like the bike/chopper rides this past summer.

There will be bbqs and all the goodies on the rides.

I think there will be one ride with a big event. you know, fabulous cash and prizes....

Don't know the details on that yet.

How often do they have rides? Where do they usually go? How many people usually go? It would be nice to know there were people to ride with for those times when everyone else flakes out!

just click on the dates and it will give you the details. The first ride is Nov. 22nd. Island park loop ride. Just click the date. More details on the ride will come up as the ride gets closer.

As you can see many more on the calendar. The bike rides this summer had anywhere from 25 people to 8. Depends on who shows. But it will be neat to sled somewhere and have a cup of joe and some eats out on the hill! That's what happened on the bike rides....food and fun. I am sure the sled stuff will be the same. Sounds like fun to me.

You sign up online and and they keep you updated on details for the ride.

You in for something like that bubba700?? Your thread. Don't wanna highjack it but maybe you can be the internet ring leader for us "straight outta" southeast idaho fellas.

I'm in just keep the date posted. Think snow!!! I would say also have to agree about staying away from black canyon. There is some fun terrain but tons of tours going that dirrection. if wanting to boondock then got some great areas up towards sawtell.

the reason that area is the first ride is because it will probably be the first ride with real snow. It may be the ONLY option. I never go there except for the first of the year. Because of the crowds. But with the first ride you just want miles.....and that a place to do it.

Hey guys I up for some trips I'm in poky also i usually ride around here so it would be nice to ride with some new guys as long as it not on trails. lol count me in. pray for snow.

help here

bubba, i live here in Rexburg and ride IP quite abit in addition to the big holes. I would suggest Keg Springs or the base of Mount Jefferson. There wont be the congestion of Blacks and not nearly as much trail riding = little to none depending on the way you head in. Also there are plenty of parking areas over there that you can usually find a place to park to. let me know if I can help you out.

Ya that would be fun, better bring Gordy so we don't get to out of control.
He's the only one that seems to have any common sense in our group.

Long time no see Dolan

Count me in on this, would be cool to put some faces to names! Probably have several other riding buddies that would go too!! I'll be there for sure though :beer;
