rode up lizzy today 46 miles the road doesn't have muchmore than 6to10 inches and the wheelers have it all rutted up but they can only go so high

I was looking at snow depths on the Snotel sites throughout Colorado, Utah and Wyoming and pretty much the safest bet is the Snowies but that may not be even worth it if we don't get good snow this week.

I know we all have the itch but is the potential damage worth it? Possibly taking yourself or your sled out for a month or two for an hour or so of crappy snow riding? I'd rather kick back, hang with my kids, watch some sleddin vids and wait for the good snow to come.

If you're just looking to ride a road, on Sunday there was enough at the top of Logan canyon in the sinks area to ride a ways. We used the snowmobiles to go cut a christmas tree up Paris canyon in Idaho on Saturday.

me and my buddy actually went last week on tuesday up in the unitas by mirror lake. the trail had only a couple inches on it but we actually found a bowl with 3 1/2 feet of fresh pow no lie. i took pics but for some reason i cant even get a profile pic so wtf? maybe when it starts workin i can post some pics but anyways, besides that bowl it sucked and i aint riskin my new sled again til there's more snow :/ so it better snow soon!

I definitely don't want to ruin my sled. this is my first mountain sled as I'm a flat lander so I'm not sure the minimal snow for a successful road ride... And the snow scratchers help with kEeping the slides lubed just wish I had directions on how to install the dealer just handed them to me :(

If your dealer is out here, he probrably does not know how to put those scratchers on. I don't think I have seen anyone ride with them in the fall and winter here.
