Motorfist Gear , Hands down!!!! Best gear I have ever owned and they will compete with any company when it comes to warranty. as for my HMK Boots, well once again I am going to be making a warranty claim, so lets keep our fingers crossed. As for Motorfist, we have canned all of our Klim gear and have switched to Motorfist as our sole vendor for clothing. For now it appears that Motorfist is geared to the snowmobile community and Klim maybe more focused on growing in the motorcycle world.

bought the wife a Columbia set (jacket and snow pants) this year because she liked the color....jacket got tore, no warranty, and to have them fix it will cost as much as the jacket did originally...

she's getting KLIM this fall....she doesnt like any of the designs motorfist or HMK have, and likes my gear (klim klimate)

Quote: Klim maybe more focused on growing in the motorcycle world.

We build the most aggressive technical riding gear in the world so the most aggressive technical rider can be confident and comfortable while riding. If you follow our involvement in motorcycle gear we are focused on waterproof, breathable, durable gear. This keeps us focused, involved, and driven year round. The data we gather from the motorcycle world is extremely valuable to us and gives us a considerable advantage in making sure our snow gear delivers on our commitment to provide you with the most aggressive technical riding gear on the planet. It does the opposite of what is implied in this statement.

Ride hard and ride safe.

I love my Klim gear, but there are several deciding factors that made me switch.

1) Pricing. It has gotten out of control. I'm in the market for new dirt gear but not excited about spending half of what I paid for for the bike on gear. Just doesn't seem right.

2) Warranty. I switched to Motorfist because the gear was affordable, high quality, comfortable, light and most of all warm and dry. The stitching came out on a pocket. I called them and in two days I had a brand new "loaner" jacket to use while I waited for mine to be repaired. You can't even tell that it was repaired. That good. My gloves got a small cut and the waterproof membrane was visible/ They sent me brand new gloves. There was no sending them in and waiting for an answer saying yay or nay. There was no "what do I do now while I wait". I had gear covering my butt at all times, whether it be a loaner or my own.

Ive found Klim Gear to be well above the task whether its on My Dirt Bike Adventure Bike or Sled. IMO a company that serves all facets of powersports learns from each one and that enables them to produce even better gear Think about it. 4 times the feedback and experience.
I run Klim Adrenaline boots on my ADV bike.. Not only are they a great snowmobile boot, but work good for hard core ADV riding as well.
Same with my F4 helmet,Jacket, pants and all my other Klim gear.

first off, i usually wear my ski gear for sledding. i voted klim because it is the only brand listed that i've had experience with. they make good products and their customer service / warranty is excellent. they went out of their way to get me a set of adrenaline boots shipped out two days before a trip i had. they did have the boots for two weeks prior but when i called last minute to check they really came through in a pinch.

MotorFist would have had you in boots as fast as UPS can drive, two days tops. I have dealt with Klim on warranty and I can tell you that I wasn't impressed. My F4 helmet is falling apart after 2 seasons. My cf Thor helmet that I use for dirtbiking takes way more abuse and it's only missing a small plastic piece. The F4 looks like it has been thru WWIII and back.

I truly am impressed with my MF gear. They will be getting into dirt gear soon. Keep in mind that Klim wasn't into dirt until just a few years ago. I'm offering up my services to be a MF dirt gear tester right now.

Come snow show time I will be looking at their new helmets

PJ, I believe what he is saying is that he procrastinated for two weeks. When he ordered at the last minute, Klim pulled through for him to make sure he received his product for his trip.

The way it's written it could be taken either way.

I'm still standing behind MF. Having worn both I am much happier with the MF stuff.

I don't know PJ is or where you ride, but whoever you are I hope you get more snow where you ride this winter.:face-icon-small-win

NW and North Central Colorado. And yeah, I hope we get more snow next season too. But to remain positive, dirtbiking is quickly becoming quite an educational experience. I have more miles on my bike than I have on my sled and Summer hasn't even started yet.

I love Klim! I wear it daily all year long, works when i am riding in -20 weather, & when I am fishing in a downpour in AK. I really want them to come out with some Stowaway pants. I really love the stowaway jackets!

We got the chance to test out the 2013 lineups of HMK, Klim, Motorfist, and FXR at the end of last year. ALL of them had some key points that made them better than the next, and they all had some little flaws.

With that said, we believe that you need to do your own research before you buy anything. There are tons of things that will change what is right "for you". Are you a sweater, are you cold, do you layer, do you ride trails, do you ride mountains, do you ride at night, do you need color, yada yada...the list never ends. Do your own research, stay off the bandwagon, and you will most likely be happy with what you choose. If you spend half as much time looking into the product, as you would bashing it int he future if what your buddy tells you is the best, most people would probably be happy with their gear.

Lastly, we believe that there are prices and quality options from the most affordable to the most outrageous, and they all have their place. Simple logic says not everybody can afford the most expensive, and not everybody needs the most expensive, but there are people who still buy the most expensive because it is worth it to them.
