COLDWAVE

i used to wear all the other brands too and probobaly because some of it was cheaper, but i was tired of being soaking wet after a ride and decided to try the klim gear and will not wear anything else, guaranteed if you try it you will agree with me.

X2 Exactly my experience.

What ever you can afford. It's more important to have decent snowmobile specific gear designed for the sport. In my humble opinion.

I had everything Klim coat, bibs, boots, gloves, base layer. I have now switched to Motorfist gear and it's every bit as good if not better then Klim.

I have been doing this for a long time so I can say I have tried most brands.
Right now I have Klim and Motor Fist. Does that make me a cross dresser? :face-icon-small-con Anyway you can't go wrong with Klim or Motor Fist. I absolutely love my Motor Fist pants, and stomper boots.

You can Cross dress. We are an equal opportunity gear outfitter.

Motor Fist wins for me. I own MF,HMK, and Klim and I am a cross Dresser.
The Motor Fist gear breathes much better imho. I still run Klim boots and HMK backpack.

i was gonna get some motorfist gear a few weeks ago but when i went to their web site what i wanted was all sold out~ will check back one more time before i go up to KLIM~~

For years now I keep seeing mention over and over again about how good this company or that company "stands behind their product".

It's clothes, not a machine.
What is the basis of "standing behind" that y'all have so much experience with?
I don't think that I have ever went back to a clothing manufacturer with a defective product.

If I catch a tree branch as I go by too hard, and I rip something, I Shirley aint gunna ask the manufacturer to replace it on their dime. You??

If maybe a zipper dies in the first yr or two, or a pocket rips out for no good reason, OK... But if as many people have had these issues as I hear mention them - it would lead me to think that the product is junk.

I don't understand "Super stuff, kant get enough of it" and the "stand behind it" remarks comming from the same tongue.

Over the past 40 yrs I have had Rupp, Yamaha, Kitty Cat, Foxpoint, SkiDoo, and Reima clothing of one sort or another.
I have absolutely no clue what kind of customer service these folks have, nor why I would have found out?

Supporting Cross dressers since 2009.

You are supported by us.

Outfitted my step son with new gear before Christmas, he had only grown about a foot since last season. Ended up going with MotorFist, it fit him the best and so far the quality seems to be top notch.

May need to replace my Klim gear some day, but it has served me very well for 10 seasons. Guess you really do get what you pay for.

I am really happy with my new FXR gear~ the best i have ever had~ hands down i would go with them again!!

Motorfist and graceful dismount

Had to offer up my comments on my nearly new Motorfist Rekon jacket. I bought this jacket in December and was very pleased with it. Fit was ideal, and an XL from another manufacturer was too tight and their 2XL was too big. The Motorfist fit was exactly what I needed.

The construction of the MF jacket was excellent. Absolutely waterproof. I could stand under a peeing giraffe and not get wet I'm thinking.. Anyway, about two weeks ago I noticed the small loop that you would use to hang the coat had come unattached. I contacted MF and described the issue and they instructed me to send it in and it's repair would be free. Kinda of expected that though. I sent it on Monday Feb 10 and mentioned that I would like to have the jacket back in hand by Feb 14 in order to use it on a ride in Togwotee on the 15th.

Tuesday morning, I learn that I needed to ride on Thursday the 13th, (scouting for giraffes near Preston Id.) I called MF and explained that I needed the jacket back sooner than I had originally planned and the response was, "We think we can get it back to you in time." MF fixed the jacket and shipped it the same day, Tuesday, I received it Wednesday.

Proudly wearing my MF jacket on Thursday morning within 10 minutes of starting the ride, I, without consideration for my own safety, had to do an over the handle bars dismount to avoid a herd of stampeding giraffe, (actually a large irrigation canal and gaping large culvert.)

During my horizontal scud missile like dismount, I took a handle bar in the chest which caused the entire seam on my MF jacket to rip out. Sheesh was I proud of myself and my brand new riding partners I'm sure were particularly impressed as well.

In conclusion, the jacket was boxed back up, and sent back to Motorfist. I contacted MF today and asked about the jacket. I was informed that it was in fact repairable and would be repaired at no cost to me. I explained that the damage was by no means the fault of the jacket and the rep said that, irregardless, the repair was free.

Top notch service and standing behind your product? Absolutely! I think I will be a Motorfist customer for quite some time. By the way, anybody know how to make a big goose egg type lump dead center of your chest go away quick? The blue and yellow bruise is not flattering my graying chest hair at all....

Im happy with my full motorfist suit. A few guys switched to tobe cause their local dealer has it and its looks good too. One guy has pants and two guys got jackets and two have the mono suits.

It dosent seem as rugged as the motor fist and klim fabric but no one had rips.
